The Miz... a face?

Absolutely miz can be face, but he still have to develop his in ring skills

He reminds me of the rock, they both started out so-so, the rock under rocky maivia and miz on ecw, but both turn heel enough where they blossom, the miz is right now on the edge of the rocks whole talking in 3rd person thing (hes telling people who he is ala "im the miz" they both talk down upon the crowd. The rock was main part of the attitude era, and now vince is redoing the WWE.

The best way to turn him face is for him to learn from the rocks. Have the rock use the miz as a way to slowly get back into the ring with those to headlining summerslam. After summerslam have the rock focuses on his feud with cena, which looks like cena is turning heel, and have the miz learn from his matches against the rock and watching the rock vs cena which would help his in ring skills and ability to sell moves, and then takes over the rocks feud with cena after wm28.

I say keep Miz the way he is. The older fans love him because he's funny and legitimately entertaining. The kids will always boo him. He's FINALLY someone who is as smart of a worker as Cena to know how people will always treat him and works both sides. It's awesome.

This is just something that's been tugging at my brain for the last day or two (which is weird because, let's face it, I have a lot of other things that SHOULD be taking up my brain-space - such as "how am I going to pay this electric bill?"). I personally think The Miz has kind of proven himself to be a pretty decent heel champion and not just a place-holder until Cena can get the belt back (I didn't like how the WM main event ENDED, but I DID like the result).

And while I do respect a wrestler who can spend his whole career as a heel (Ravishing Rick Rude, for example, was AWESOME and I can't think of a single time he was ever a true face), I think the true sign of a true "legend" is not just ring ability but also the ability to not only make the fans hate you intensely, but make them cheer for you like no other. It's sort of like a movie star who is convincing as both a hero and a villain.

Which brings me to The Miz. He's invested a LOT in his heel character and it's paid off dividends for him. He's the WWE champion and he's become... well, I don't want to say a "media sensation"... let's just say he's taken this chance and ran with it.

But like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Randy Orton, Edge and others, do you think The Miz has the ability to move past being a heel and find success as a face? I'm not saying I predict it's going to happen anytime soon but... do you think he can do it?

Absolutely. Outside of the Miz character, Mike Mizanin is a really a likeable guy. He can be funny, which always is received well by the fans. Not only that but his story is something that the fans would eat up if he wasn't throwing it in their face in a loudmouth, obnoxious way.

So yeah not only can he be a great face, but he inevitably will be. And it could be as simple as knocking Michael Cole on his ass.

Miz will be a face eventually because it'll be the fans that turn him, rather than WWE making that conscious decision to turn him face one day. Miz is already getting huge pops. It's really just a matter of time. IMO, he has the best mic skills in the company right now, even ahead of Cena. His in-ring ability has been nothing but a continued improvement and he is obviously Vince's new "go to" guy. Miz has also added a level of prestige to the WWE Championship that has not been seen for some time. Whoever beats him, I hope that 1) it's an epic match and that 2) it's a worthy opponent and not just Randy Orton or John Cena (maybe Morrison?).

To anyone who says the Miz sucks, I'm guessing you're Cena fans. I didn't like him at first, and a lot of the WWE Universe was skeptical. I, for one, am now 100% behind Miz as the one of the top two heels along with Punk to counter Orton and Cena. Therein lies the problem. The crowd that turned Orton into a face is now switching to Punk over Orton and even, to me, it's seeming The Miz is getting more pop than most. With the "Cena Sucks" chants growing ever louder and one of 4 top babyfaces gone, the time for things to shake up should be coming soon. Will it? Probably not, but it should. Things are changing quite fast in the WWE it seems.
