Has anyone ever seen it? Its not been on tv for a while
Now, but if you haven't, it's about three guys, Vince, Howard & Naboo, along with their gorilla friend Bollo, played by Noel Fielding, Julian Barrat, Mike Fielding & Dave Brown respectively. Each episode has a different story and to be honest, you're either gonna love it or hate it. Theyre also the inventors of "crimping", which is a short song, usually sang with no time or necessary tune.
There's 3 series (seasons) out there to watch, with guest appearances from Gary Numan & The Horrors.

Also, along with your 4 main characters, there are also a lot of other characters to enjoy (many played by the guys who play Vince & Howard). They're mostly wacky creations like The Cockney Hitcher, Old Gregg (who has a mangina), Bubblegum Charlie, Bob Fossil, The Moon & The Crack Fox.

Great fucking show. Definitely not for everyone but if the goofy humor does it for you this is a show you have to see.

Finally I find someone not in my own ring of friends that likes it.

It has got a strange sense of humour in itself, but it's aired in the US, and they loved it, so it must work over there as well as it does here.

I used to love it when I was younger but I don't seem to find it very funny any more. Maybe I need to give it another shot.

Has it aired over in SA then?
Not that I know of. But my old rez had a great LAN system and we torrented and shared a lot.

Well, they torrented...

The first season was good as the characters had a certain charm about them. As each season progressed, the writing became more tiresome as they played up to the artsy student "omg I'm like so random yah?" Crowd.

Howard Moon was the best part of the show.

Howard Moon was the best part of the show.

Watching their second live show, Howard was the best part of that from start to finish, not to mention his fucking awesome guitar playing. Noel just felt unfunny in that one.

There are few shows I hate more. The humour is forced and absurd, and for a show with little else in it, like (optional word: decent) acting, they should atleast harder than just saying and doing strange things. A black mark on the face of british comedy.
