Come on. Admit it. When you were a kid, you'd wake up every Saturday morning early to catch your favorite cartoon. Batman: The Animated Series, Freakazoid, Power Rangers, Animaniacs, Schoolhouser Rock, Digimon, Spiderman, Yu Gi Oh, Saturday was a kids day to wake up and just stare at the TV for a good 5 hours. There used to be all sorts of blocks. Fox Kids, Kids WB, ABC Kids and beyond. Which was your favorite? To me it had to be Fox Kids. Bar-none. Looking at it's line-up it's chock full of legendary series. This is where Batman: TAS, Spiderman, Power Rangers, Digimon, Bobby's World, X-Men, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?, the list just goes on. In my eyes, there was never a block of TV that had my attention like this one. Damn saddening when it eventually died. Which was your favorite Saturday morning block and what shows do you remember?

Saturday morning cartoons died? :(

I can remember watching Kids WB religiously from the fall of 2002 to the spring of 2003. On Saturday mornings, I'd wake up early and catch Yu Gi Oh at 8am (and again at 8:30). From what I remember, those were usually older re runs. Newer episodes of shows came on later. I think the new Yu Gi Oh was on at 11 or something. There was always a new episode of Pokemon on Saturday mornings too (even though Pokemon was "uncool" at this point, I was still digging it). They also had Mucha Lucha in there and some other shows I can't remember for some reason. Those were the days when you could still get TV reception with antennas, so I'd watch on the little 13 inch TV with rabbit ears in my room. 8-) My dad was usually at work and my mom and sisters were usually sleeping in. That was a fun time now that this thread made me recall it.
