The IWC Power 1O: March 4

#BabyFace

**The.Best.In.The.World**
WWE.Com has their "Power 25" Most IWC fans know that this isnt exactly the "realest" thing. So I will start making a thread every once in a while for the IWC's Power 1O. (I fell like 25 might be a little to much) Simply tell your Power 1O in the WWE based on how good their work has been lately. This can be anyone from superstars, to announcers, to GM's. Heres mine

1. Chris Jericho - He and Punk had a pretty good promo then he finally made his move with the slam at the top of the stage.
2. John Cena- John Cena has completely sold me on the match at WM the past couple of weeks. His promos have been GOLD.
3. CM Punk- After putting on great matches with Daniel Bryan the past few weeks, we finally got a promo between him and Jericho. It goes without saying, every Punk promo is good.
4. Daniel Bryan- After weeks of him beating small guys like Santino and sneaking out with wins, it was good to see him have the upper hand against Orton. All while sneaking a win again with a count out
5. Sheamus- A very good match to me with Dolph Ziggler on SD is what gets Sheamus this high on SmackDown. I am also one who has loved his mic work lately.
6. Primo & Epico- This one might be disagreed by alot of you but on RAW they impressed me. Not just because They retained the titles but I saw some really good in ring work between them. Maybe it was just guys like Ziggler bringing the best out of them.
7. Cody Rhodes- Some may not like the fued he is in with Big Show right now but I have mixed feelings about it. Im a lover of the promos hes giving about Big Show's past WM matches.
8. Kane- I loved how he came back on Monday. THIS is the Kane I wanted to see when he returned. He took out everyone in the ring. I dont know how I feel about the Orton fued. I rather have Orton in the WHC match, but Im glad Kane is getting a quality opponent at Mania.
9. Randy Orton- Orton still looked Orton. He put on a pretty good match with Bryan. Im ready for a Bryan/Orton fued.
10. Johnny Ace/Teddy Long- I am pleasently suprised how well the GM fued is going. I loved how agressive they looked on RAW.

Honorable Mentions-
The Rock- His promo just didnt live up to what I thought it would be.
The Miz- I did enjoy his pre-match promo on RAW.
Big Show- He put on a good match with Mark Henry on Smackdown.

Yours?

1.CM Punk-Ever since Survivor Series hes been on a roll (sometimes its been a bit bumpy) and his promo with Jericho showed how good this build between him and chris will get
2.John Cena-The past two weeks have been some of his best work his whole career and has actually made me a little interested in the him and rock match
3.Chris Jericho-As usual proving why we think of him as 1 of the best his heel work and promo with cm punk has (even though it wasnt the way we expected) been gold
4.Daniel bryan-I think hes really accepted his role as a heel and is doing an excellent job right now (ps. i like how hes doin some of the heel stuff he used to back in ROH)
5.Cody Rhodes-IMO hes one of the top three heels in wwe right now hes done an oustanding job with his work with the Big Show
6.John L.-I like how he kinda seems like a more powerful heel and im almost sure hell come out of Mania GM of both shows
7.Sheamus-I like the momentum hes had since winning the rumble but id like to see more segments with him and Bryan since theyre mania opponets
8.The Colons-I agree with you i liked the match they had on raw and them coming out champions against 4 high profile challengers made them look like strong capable champions
9.Kane-I liked how he destroyed the 3 teams monday but idk if like him and orton at mania
10.Randy Orton-It was good to see him back and have a solid match with Bryan just curious what happens with kane

1. John Cena - i've been really impressed with both his promos on the last two raws. He's definately winning the mic battle with the Rock right now.
2. John Laurantis - When he first showed up on TV he looked awkward and a little lost to me, but he's really improved his charachter and is now a great heel GM.
3. Chris Jericho - Always knew Y2J would deliver the goods, and his segment with punk last week was great.
4. CM Punk - It takes two to make a great fued, and punk is certainly playing his part.
5. Cody Rhodes - Personaly i don't like the idea of a rhodes - big show fued, so it says a lot about rhodes ability that i'm still interested in the match. Good promo work.
6. Daniel Bryan - For a guy that i always thought lacked natural charisma, he's really starting to impress me as a heel. Kind of reminds me of Kurt Angle with his role model promo's.
7. Kane - It was great to see some vintage kane on raw, taking out 6 guys and just leaving. Brilliant. Not sure about the orton fued, but at least he'll be a part of WM28.
8. Randy Orton - not just for his work this week, but generally he's been great this year. Took over from edge as the main guy on smackdown, had a great fued with christian, and helped put over mark henry and wade barret. A credit to WWE in my eyes.
9. Eve Torres - Don't know where they're going with Eve as a heel, but i thought she did a good job with her promo on raw, and is getting legit heel reactions from the crowd.
10. HHH/Taker - i thought this is worth a mention, as i was not ineterested in another HHH/Taker mania match, but somehow they've got me excited about it. Maybe it's just the hell in a cell factor, but their segments and promos have been really good IMO.

just a word on the rock, i don't know if he was genuinly out of sorts or whether it was the plan to make cena look strong. If it was the latter, then i guess you have to say the rock did his job well.

1: John Cena: Is doing some of the best promo work of his career now and his match with Rock is really beginning to gain some momentum.
2: Chris Jericho: Cut a great promo with Ounk last week and his solo one a fortnight ago was even better, in great form just now
3: The Rock: Promo last week wasn't his best, but more than made up for it with his sheer ability to hold the crowd in the palm of his hand. Expect him to electrify from now till Wrestlemania
4: CM Punk: Half of a great promo with Y2J last week, their fued building to mania is really garnering my interest.
5: Cody Rhodes: He just keeps gettign better and better, excellent work on the mic recently and his Big Shows most embarssing moments segments are gold, looking very strong.
6: Daniel Bryan: Starting to adapt to his heel persona and it is good to see him showcasing a little more personality, strong display against a returning Orton this week.
7: Kane: Has came back with a bang, looked strong pulverizing the remnants of the 6 man tag on Raw, then targetin Orton, this fued Orton would provide a solid match at mania.
8: The Colons: Participated in a great tag match on Raw and retained their titles against two strong teams. Look very fuid in the ring together and having Rosa Mednes at ring-side always helps :o
9: David Otunga: He has been looking strong recently with impressive in-ring showings and his mic work has come along very well, good to see him gettign plenty of tv time. Will be a key player in the Long/Laurinitis angle.
10: Eve Torres: Has done an excellent job of garnering heat in recent weeks, combined with strong displays in-ring. Really deveoped her charcter above and beyoind most of the other divas on the roster.

Agree 100% with the people who put Eve Torres. Forgot about her but her promo on RAW was fantastic. It has been a while since ive seen a diva deliver a good promo all by herself.

1. D-Bry - Bryans character continues to grow. He came out of the mini champ vs champ series looking like a legitemet equal to punk who's been as over as any non rock/cena character recently. He continues to grow as a heel both as an annoying and manipulative one. Hope he walks out WM the champ.

2. Rock - Now, maybe this was just because I was fairly drunk while watching raw, but even though they attempted to make cena look stronger I don't think he did even while pointing out wrist notes. Maybe it was the drunken humor in me, but calling cena a kung pow bitch, and getting the crowd fully behind kung pow bitch chants and cenas missing balls chants was the most crowd involved segments ever. The forced put over by having cena come out, walk away and rocky act blundered came off a quite forced feeling IMO.

3. John Cena - He's still cena and is still going to get more face time than anyone. No reason to go on about why. Though his over part felt forced I stll left the show feeling he may win, which was the goal, right?

4. Eve - Going into that whole cena/kane saga who thought she'd benefit the most? But man she's playing her character to a T and is coming off very strong. Very impressed, now have her crush kelly kelly and any other over face diva at the moment, while continuing to build herself out of the ring.

5. Punk - The WWE title match has been a bit overshadowed with 2 non title main events cheduled for WM but strong opening segment on raw, by Punk anyway. I do not think jericho will make my top 10 as he repeated himself constantly, looks rather old and tired these days and I'm just not liking his return much this time around. Best Y2J moment to date this go round would be getting knocked out the chamber by punk.

6. Primo & Rosa - I have been very impressed by primos in ring work as of late and rosa doesn't hurt :) epico, primos cousin however, does nothing for me, when he comes in the match its to help put the other team over, its all about primo and the backstabber, who always gets the pinfall, and is the vlear leader of the group.

7. Kane - After the hiatus, it was good to see him back leaving bodies lying everywhere, we seen some destruction before the EC also though, which didn't lead to much in terms of Kane, we'll see where this orton fued leads.

8. Lawyer O'Tunga - He's been impressive in the ring ever since they stopped squashing him, he's better on the mic and better at promos than both GM's if he didn't have a bright future in the ring (which he does) id be calling for him as the new dual GM.

9. Cody Rhodes - Only this low because I don't like his current storyline or the way its been playing out, but he's still been very impressive in the ring and on the mic. Just please don't screw this up WWE, give Cody the clean victory at WM he deserves.

10. The Miz - Play it right and he could become a huge part of WM, I could seehim screwing the game caiming the game screwed himself by not recognizing Miz's awesomeness, leading to a big time fued for the awesome one. Or they'll just give him a random low card match and blame him for low buyrates, but right now he's got me as interested in seeing what comes at WM as anyone. Onlythis low on the list due to months of worthlessness (not by fault of his own.)

Sheamus and Y2J would probably be 11 and 12, but only because of their current position and not anything overly impressive they've done.

1. John Cena- This is based on the last 2 weeks. Before this, he wouldn't have even made my top 5.

2. CM Punk- He is on a role and is the most solid guy in WWE.

3. Daniel Bryan- He was given a chance, and succeeded.

4. Dolph Ziggler and Vickie G.- They have been together forever, and are really making it work. Ziggler has been amazing recently.

5. Cody Rhodes- Dude is the best young guy WWE has. He is like 20 or 21? I have said it before, and will say it again, he is the next Randy Orton.

6. Sheamus- A lot of big wins recently.

7. Kane- Weather it is attacking Ryder, Raping Eve, Making Cena embrace Hate, attacking Tag Teams, or Beating up Orton, Kane has been on a role.

8. Chris Jericho- He should be higher on the list. He has started to pick up his pace, but needs to gain more momentum.

9. Kofi Kingston- Poor Guy. He is just jumping from mid card to teaming to uppercard. I think it is a good thing though. He is improving too.

10. Johnny and Teddy- Both have stepped it up in recent weeks.

Honorable Mention- Primo and Epico and Rosa, The Big Show, Mark Henry, Randy Orton, Eve, Natalya

5. Cody Rhodes- Dude is the best young guy WWE has. He is like 20 or 21? I have said it before, and will say it again, he is the next Randy Orton.

Um, he's more like 27. That said, I do agree with you. He is the next Randy Orton. They need to get him into the main event picture on Smackdown, ASAP. I just hope they don't move him to RAW, where he'll be buried.

1. Daniel Bryan - The only thing keeping the belt on him for this long is a diehard fanbase.
2. CM Punk - He made wrestling less redundant, doesn't do squash matches and hasn't failed me on the mic.
3. The Rock - The epitome of the "it" factor, 'nuff said.
4. Chris Jericho - A guy who can make heat or baby face appeal by changing his facial expression and tone of voice.
5. John Cena - I hate on Cena a lot. He's finally showing some versatility in his promos and no doubt WM will rest on his shoulders.
6. Santino Marella - Nobody plays the Cinderella story better than this guy, it's time for him to get a preliminary belt.
7. Big Show - The bravest guy in the business. He has paid his dues over and over again and keeps playing a doofus while having a good sense of humor.
8. Dolph Ziggler - Curt Henning's kindred spirit, a bit sloppy on the Mic.
9. Randy Orton - Hardly still as marketable as he was, his music gets a pop everytime.
10. AJ - Hear me out. AJ can sell better than any other diva I've seen, she's tough and her newbie appeal is making an impact on the storyline.

Honorable mentions
1. Johnny Ace - He successfully absorbed the HHH heat and lately has been spot on as a condescending ego-maniac.
2. Eve - She's cute and is handling the on-screen drama well. Attagirl.
3. David Otunga - I think he's funny, makes the show easier to sit through.
4. Kane - I feel sorry for him. That's the only reason I mention him.
5. R-Truth - His Little Jimmy angle is a fun time waster.
6. Kofi - Under-utilized? Sure. I'm waiting to see him have a break out moment.
7. Primo and Epico - The flying Colon boys are natural performers.

Dishonorable mentions
1. Shaemus - Just when I think he's getting more down to Earth, they have him squash Mark Henry with one kick. He barely put over Ziggler and hasn't given a clean win since Christian.
2. Miz - It was cute for about a month, now we're growing allergic to his stupidity.
3. Cody Rhodes - Does anybody give a fuck about the Intercontinental title anymore? Thanks Cody.
4. Jack Swagger - There's nothing remotely appealing about this guy, he even bores me when he acts like a moron. Send him to FCW.

Dishonorable mentions
3. Cody Rhodes - Does anybody give a fuck about the Intercontinental title anymore? Thanks Cody.

What do you mean! Cody brought the IC Title back from the dead!
He is not a dishonorable mention. He is number 5 on my list! This guy is part of the future of WWE.

1. John Cena- Cena gets the top spot by sheer virtue of the fact that his promo got people talking in a big way. Regardless of whether or not he was booked to come across stronger than Rock, he finally painted a picture for people to cheer for him in this feud.

2. Daniel Bryon-With each week, he better establishes a more compelling heel character, and as a result, has fans wanting to see him lose at WM, building interest for his match at WM.

3. CM Punk- His mic work with Jericho, plus his always good in ring work with Bryan really illustrated why he is in the position he is in.

4. Jericho- Going step for step with CM Punk in the Post Pipe Bomb era isn't easy to do, but Jericho held his own on Monday night, and finally began to pain the picture for his feud with Punk.

5. Austin Aries- This week, Austin Aries finally took a step towards being seen as more than just an X Division talent. He held his own on the mic with Bobby Roode, Bully Ray, and Sting, and came across looking like a much bigger star after getting the rub from all three.

6. Randy Orton-His return fills a huge void in Smackdown, with Sheamus and Big Show the only compelling babyfaces on SD in his absence. His match with Bryan was good, and the beginning of a feud with Kane ensures he gets his own match at WM, as opposed to being insterted into the Sheamus/Bryan match, and taking away from it being a match between two young stars.

7. Bobby Roode-Even though his push hasn't been quite as good as it could be, he continues to be a great heel champion, and a great focal point for TNA. His feud with Sting will only help him, especially if TNA does the right and books him over The Insane Icon.

8. Bully Ray- Yet another week where Bully Ray proves he is the best heel in wrestling. He's helped get Roode over, and by being in ring with Aries, helped get him over as more than just X Division as well. It's hard to see Bully Ray not running with World Title at some point in 2012.

9. Cody Rhodes- Cody has done an incredible job with his weekly segments humiliating Big Show. His character is a perfect opposite of Show's, and he is really helping to build up Show and the IC title by having a feud with him.

10-Sheamus-Another week of Sheamus looking as dominate as ever. Sadly, he isn't being given near enough exposure with Bryan to build interest in their feud. WWE is doing a great job of making Sheamus look like a legit and serious threat come WM, but he's yet to be given enough reason to make this feud feel perosnal on any level.
