The greatest crowd atmosphere you have experienced.

Well most here have been to a live event and have had great experiences. So what was the best atmosphere of a crowd at an event you have been at. Sometimes crowds are dead, sometimes on fire. What was your favorite. It does not have to be wrestling.

Mine had to be an GAA match i went to today. My god the noise is deafining, there is just a constant buzz, it never dies, and when theres a score, think Cena pop x5 ( much deeper though) It's an outdoor stadium to, I cant imagine what it would be like indoors. Your guarenteed a headache. There is no dignity at the matches, people just go mental, jumping up and down, like the crowds of the attitude era.

So what was the best crowd atmosphere you.ve experienced

(P.S: If there is a better place for this, a mod can move it.

I've been to many sporting events with great atmospheres - Ireland rugby internationals at Lansdowne Road and Croke Park while loaded full of Guinness are stand outs while while music wise, seeing Iggy Pop at Reading in 2001 and earlier this year amongst 50,000 in Bangor to see Snow Patrol was great

My favourite though was in the Ulster Hall in Belfast watching Feeder play live, particularly during the intro of "Just a Day." The packed crowd and the more intimate nature of the venue (plus a few beers) was just awesome

This dosent do today much justice, but listen to the crowd when the ball hits the crossbar... and ignore the annoying accent of the fan who couldn't keep his mouth close..

I went to a Flyers/Devils playoff game a few months ago (for all the europeans here, thats hockey). Being that it was a playoff game, everyone was pumped. It was just crazy. Whenever a goal was scored, the noise was deafening. I hope I get to do it again sometime soon.

I went to OzFest last Tuesday it was really loud and defining and everyone was moshing up in the pitts was diffidently an amazing atmosphere unlike anything I've ever seen before at other concerts or sports games.

I went to the American Carnage Tour a couple weeks back and the crowd was insane the entire time. The crowd peaked during the Megadeth set though. They sang every single song out loud(I did as well) and Dave Mustaine was actually taken aback by it all. An incredible experience.

There's been a few, concerts mostly, but I would say probably either this:

Or more likely, this, but I don't remember it as well:

When CM Punk preformed his first sermon on the mount, IN THE CROWD, in Philadelphia, PA, at Night Of Champions 2009.

Holy. Shit. I never felt anything remotely close to that at a wrestling show. Anyone who has ever been involved with a riot, or a large, large fight...you know, there is just this certain feeling in the air just before it....Like when things have changed to that "next level" of hostility...

I remember sitting there thinking "oh my God, something is about to happen in here..." You could literally feel the hate and tension in the building.

EDIT: Rep to whomever finds a video of it. Like fuck if I can.

Um i was looking at the whole match at NoC 2009 and he didn't do the sermon, cause i was trying to find the video you were talking about.

Yea, like fuck he didnt.

It was earlier in the show, after the second match, I think, about three matches before he and Jeff went on.

Maybe know what you are talking about before telling me SOMETHING I SAW IN PERSON DIDNT HAPPEN. HELLO.

FORGIVE ME NorCal :icon_neutral:

Also i cannot find that video, it sucks because that promo was good and i always enjoy CM Punk's mic work.

For me it would have to be the Falcons game against the Bears in 2008. I remember just being there and after Orton lead that touchdown drive to put the Bears up with under a minute left. The whole Georgia Dome was quiet then the pooch kick happened and Ryan hit a quick strike to Jenkins. The crowd was with me included was litterally on the edge of our sets. A man sitting next to me was actually praying for Elam to make the field goal. I could barely speak for the rest of the day.

Here's a live video:

(Glad to see some Bears fans know how to take a loss)

Oh yeah, NorCal here's the video for the Punk promo. I had it saved to my favorites on dailymotion. The moment where I became a follower of the straightedge lifestyle.

Oh my, as soon as he let loose CM Punk just let them have it, i remember watching that and just had a WHAT THE FUCK look on my face.
