The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Series [5]: The Undertaker

Calderownz

Brilliant Idiot
THE GOOD:
He was a great professional. Had a relatively cartoonish character, that he made work and then some. Title reigns almost looked less impressive compared to his most epic feuds. Could make even the worst wrestlers in the business have a semi-tolerable match, and this was tested non a regular basis at some points in his life. Was capable of working with bigger or smaller men and had some of the best types of matches in the business concocted around his character. Quick for his size.

THE BAD:
One of the bad things that him was that he was a bigger guy and seemed to be a little injury prone, especially towards the latter part of his career. Also, he didn't really appeal to me with his American Bad-Ass character.

THE UGLY:
One of the only things I can come up with is the fact that he's continued well on past his best days. In some ways, I think that he should have been gone about 5 years ago. It's unfortunate that we'd have lost Michaels-Taker at WrestleMania 25 & 26. However, it's just not good to see such a prolific performer go well on past his prime like this.

What about you guys?

THE GOOD: He's a popular enduring character who's worked in the Main Event or lower down the card for a long arse time now. Major player in some of wrestlings best known moments, Ministry of Darkness, Foley and the cell and all that. One of the most entertaining characters of the attitude era.

THE BAD: In his early career I always thought he was a slow, boring, unentertaining version of Ultimate Warrior, over the top character, no selling, the lot.

THE UGLY: Constantly injured, pretty much the only person to have bad matches with Austin in the attitude era, probably due to injury. Has about 6 months off a year now, matches still arent all that.

The good

The good thing about the Undertaker is he try s to have a good match with just about anyone in the ring for example he did his best with Gonzalez. Another good thing about the Undertaker is his feuds and his Wrestlemaina winning streak both off which he does everything to make them entertaining and wacthable for example the over done feud with Kane he made that good and the matches he has had with Kane at wrestlemaina are also very good.

The bad

I can only come up with a few that have also been said before and those are that he is injury prone in the ring a lot more as he has grown older. I can come up with one recent example and they are when he had that match with Rey on Smackdown he broke apart off his nose following a 619 that in my option did not get him hard.

The ugly

This one is really hard as the only thing I can think off is that he is to far past his prime and that is a shame to see once great performer to an old man that has only his gimmick to keep his great carrier from falling throw.
