The Godfather in The Royal Rumble.... but not for long

Dark Match Jobber
So I have a question that I am wondering if anyone else knows the truth to this. I heard a rumor years back that Charles Wright aka The Godfather (aka Papa Shango aka Kama aka Goodfather) was not a big fan of Royal Rumble Matches or Battle Royals. Something along the lines of having no problem in a 1 on 1 match or a tag match but did not like being in the ring with a lot of guys at one time for some reason and did not enjoy taking part in these matches with so many people. Now my guess would be maybe the worry of an injury or something along those lines. I would doubt it has anything to do with being claustrophobic considering that I have seen the guy in the ring with 20 Ho's on top of him at once lol. Now I know this may not be the most interesting post on here but I am wondering if anyone else has heard this or taken notice of it like I have. I happened to go through about 5 or 6 Royal Rumble matches today and I noticed in each one that he was in, he lasted no longer then 2 minutes. In the '93 Rumble he entered as Papa Shango at number 3 and before number 4 came out Ric Flair eliminated him. He was eliminated real quick in his later years when he made surprise returns in the Rumble and the year that he entered as The Goodfather in I believe 2002 he also was gone in under 2 minutes. To my knowledge I do not know of any Rumble match where he didnt last between 2 seconds and 2 minutes and I am really wondering if any one else has heard this and confirm if it is true and that he had asked WWE to be quickly be eliminated from the Royal Rumble?

In 1996 he lasted 16 minutes and was the second to last man eliminated.

Never heard of him disliking battle royals.

Yes i actually saw that one last night, but to the best of my knowledge that is the only one....the rest of them seem to be quick appearances and then hes gone, I was hoping to get more comments on this because I did hear it a few times but who knows.

I think just the fact that he wasn't too prominent of a character is why his appearances weren't that long. Also, the last Rumble he was in (2012, I believe) he wasn't in for anymore than 5 seconds. However, I believe that was because it was for comedic and character purposes. He's a happy go lucky owner of an escort service. Why the hell does he need to last a long time in a physical match like the Royal Rumble when he can have a physical contest of his own with his ladies?
