FIFA 10 has taken Europe by storm, and EA SPORTS has a reason to cheer. Released across the continent on October 2, FIFA 10 quickly racked up 1.7 million sales with the first week. Since launch, over 155,000 gamers have played online, accumulating more over 10 million gaming sessions.
EA is not only celebrating its biggest European launch in history but also having the fastest selling sports game ever. A big pat on the back for the crew at EA SPORTS.
"We were confident that FIFA 10 would be a hit, and this week fans across Europe have shown just how much they love this game," said EA's Peter Moore. "We are incredibly proud of FIFA 10 and this kick-off for great, authentic football competition."
A demo has been out for some time, but North American soccer fans can get the full game on October 20, when FIFA 10 arrives for every available platform on the planet.
