The Fashion Police

Anyone else think these two are hilarious? Fandango's delivery in particular in the Fashion Files is superb. WWE comedy usually makes me groan but I found myself laughing at the 'Day One Is H' skit.

Both are talented and it's great they have something to do. They also give a bit of relief and fun characters to a rather bland division. They can still go, so they can turn it up in the ring to make them seem like more legit contenders. The Usos were great as the heels breaking up the fun.

Not sure how they'd go down away from places like Chicago.

Personally I like Breezedango, always have and find their segments a total riot. Laughed out loud last night at Breeze stopping the Uso twin with the mop.

Totally enjoyed the match, well except for JBL over dramatizing it, but that said the crowd was into it as well. Fandango was a scream as the drunk commentator on Southpaw Regional Wrestling. Him and Breeze have the goods in the ring and on the mic. Waiting to see more of this and hope the WWE doesn't scrap it. Don't think it will play well in some arena's but who gives a rats ass and long as the majority of the viewers like it that's fine.

The WWE goes full throttle with their tag team gimmicks in anticipation of a title match, I don't see them continuing the bits unless Breezango stay in the title hunt or if merchandise sales go through the roof.

To keep it fresh; I'd personally like it if Breezango evolves into a team that randomly parodies old tv shows. Like in anticipation of an upcoming match (doesn't have to be for the title) they become a Knightrider parody with Adrian Street as the voice of KIT.

I have to admit that I thought Tyler Breeze was hilarious last night. I'm usually the guy to crap all over stuff like this but...I dunno, it just worked for me for some reason. I also thought the Chicago crowd last night would savagely lay into them but I was surprised to see the ultra smarky crowd not only embrace the whole thing but thoroughly enjoy it. The Usos' selling of the entire situation, their facial expressions and being taken out of their game helped things as Jimmy & Jey are two of the most expressive guys on the entire roster. I think what Breezango did last night worked and I also think they turned a corner last night into full fledged fan favorites; don't be at all surprised to see them receive a big pop the next time they're out for a match.

Sure they come off as a bit clownish, but they're not so clownish as to overshadow the fact that they're a couple of capable wrestlers that could be a threat to any tag team on the roster

Breezango or "fashion police" are funny and entertaining. I like both guys. I've liked Tyler Breeze since NXT and Fandango ever since he debuted that gimmick. Both guys are athletic as hell too. But, this stuff they're doing right now is like on the level of Damien Mizdow funny. I want the skits to keep coming. I haven't laughed like this since the Team Hell No skits. I hope all of this leads to a Tag Team Championship run or something. These guys deserve some recognition. I'm gonna go listen to their entrance theme now.

I've loved Tyler Breeze since his NXT days. He has an unique gimmick and I didn't expect WWE to push him on the main roster since talent isn't always pushed, See Jinder. In NXT, he was a solid midcard wrestler having good matches. On the main roster, he was thrown aside after a while of his debut. Never liked Fandango.

But Breezango is fun to watch. Especially the fashion files. Breeze and Fandango seem to have clicked very well with each other and that's good for the fans.

This was legitimately the most entertaining part of Backlash.

I haven't really watched any WWE weekly programming lately since it's mostly terrible to sit through, but I had heard of this Fashion Police gimmick and I immediately liked the idea. After seeing them wrestle and talk, it's pretty clear why the characters work. You can tell that Breeze and Fandango are using their own sense of humor and are actually having fun, which is exactly how the New Day became one of the most over acts in the company. One match and I completely bought into the Fashion Police as a team, and I'm looking forward to them chasing the belts. Based on the reactions at Backlash, it'll be huge when they finally win...... so naturally WWE will do it on a random SmackDown with no build up.

Ever since the Johnny Curtis days I think Fandango has been really underrated. He's basically always been a lower card guy but there is clearly a natural charisma there. You saw it with his early Johnny Curtis stuff, and you can see it on Southpaw Regional Wrestling too. The Fandangoing dance got over too, but the WWE didn't capitalize on it or ride the momentum fucking at all. He's a funny guy and he has the perfect look and attitude for this gimmick.

Breezango shows why the WWE needs to be committed to coming up with entertaining things for the ENTIRE roster, top to bottom. If you have somebody on the roster full-time, why not try to maximize their potential? If you don't see anything worthwhile in a talent, they shouldn't be there in the first place. EVERYBODY NEEDS A CLEAR CHARACTER. EVERYBODY. And it can't just be (shouldn't just be) writers doing this. The wrestlers need to contribute themselves.

Unfortunately the New Day are returning. I'm not sure if Smackdown has a place for two comedy teams in such a shallow division.
