If Done Right (Breaking the Bat) Bane Can Be a Great Villain. I Just Think Nolan Wouldn't Want to Go Down That Route. I Think it's a Little Too Far Out There for Nolan's Liking.

Bane and the whole "Breaking the Bat" story could work very well with Nolan directing however I think he'd need a few more movies to set it up first, he needs to add Robin and then have him grow up, mature and become Nightwing, and then you would have to also introduce and establish Azreal as he takes over after Bruce is crippled, the whole Breaking the Bat storyline would also have to be a movie that is at least 3 hrs. long in order to tell the story properly, so I really just don't see it happening right now

As for villains for this movie, I still say Hush though I think Black Mask could be interesting as well, and I don't buy into Wills theory that fans only go to Batman movies to see the mainstream villains, I think Batman Begins proved that as neither Scarecrow or Ras Al Ghul were mainstream villains, I think Batman fans today just want a good bat flick, which is exactly what Nolan gives us

I'm honestly thinking someone else will simply play the Joker character. I mean, Heath may be dead - but the character isn't.

I'd rather see a Poison Ivy villain than someone else play the Joker.. unless they're gonna bring in Jack, which seems absurd.

I'm probably risking public castration for this, but what if Angelina Jolie played Cat Woman? As more of a secondary villian like Eckart/Harvey Dent was in Dark Knight.

All in all, I think Nolan could pull off a realistic Penguin. Pretty disappointed the Riddler isn't going to be the villain. He's always been one of my favorites.

Jolie doesn't fit tbh, she's stick out like a sore thumb really. You want someone who can play a character not see her and go 'Yeah it's Angelina Jolie', that's what makes these Batman films great, you don't see Bale or Oldman, you see Bruce and Gordon.

I'm up for the Penguin as a mob leader, given they took out the majority of the mob in TDK, they need someone to rise in their place. Riddler I think is too Joker like except for the fact that he flaunts his interlect, which means a repeat of TDK, the real reason people want Riddler is so they can see another Joker-like villain, I trust in Nolan to give something better with someone people undermine.

Kate Beckinsdale for Catwoman! Because we all know how good she looks in tight clothing I am pretty stumped on the Male villian of the movie though as I was sure it was going to be the riddler. Well whoever it is better be awesome since this is the last batman film (of Nolan's trilogy). I'm sure Nolan will deliver though

I'd only want to see Bane 'Breaking the Bat' if it was at least told in two seperate movies. Preferbaly Three.

Movie 1 - Batman gets worn down having to be Batman all the time. Ends with Bane breaking Batman's back.

Movie 2 - Deals with Azreal's rise as the new Batman and how Bruce is coping.

Movie 3 - Batman vs Bane final battle.

Tom Hardy looks like he'll play a Good Guy or some "rugged" type guy from the images of him on Google. He doesn't have the look of an intelligent villain. He might also be another Cop. My Batman-verse knowledge is severely lacking so I have no idea who he could be. Hell, maybe he'll play Grayson. It could work without him actually being Robin.

I just do not know what Villain they can use. Joker was more then likely who they were going to go with but with Heath dying, who/what can you get to fill that role?

I'd actually quite like to see Harvey Bullock introduced. I think it'd work quite well with Gordon being a reluctant hunter, whereas Bullock would be more of the trigger happy type who wants Batman dead or alive. Sort of a similar scenario to BTAS

PLEASE let the villain be Penguin. Get Timothy Spall to play him.

Been saying it for years.

I can't think of any reason why The Riddler wouldn't be in this film. There's a demand for him and as interesting as Black Mask or Mr. Zsasz is they're secondary villains in a Batman film.
