The Dark Knight is Cursed???

Shocky

Kissin Babies and Huggin Fat Girlz
Uh oh, is the Dark Knight the new Poltergeist?

This is the big thing hitting the net right now.

Heath Ledger, died

Christian Bale, arrested

Morgan Freeman, hospitalized.

Also a crewman died.

So the overly superstitious internet is at it again. So is there anything legit to it, or just a big ole coincidence.

So creepy. Something horrible has happened to almost every person to ever work on a Poltergeist film. Only person off the top of my head who seems to have escaped the curse is Craig T. Nelson. Probably because he made Turner and Hooch.

Never heard about that one?

Several stars from the movie series died including the little girl who played the staring role.

Dominique Dunne, 22-year-old actress who played the oldest sibling Dana in the first movie, died after being choked by a jealous boyfriend in 1982.[1] The boyfriend John Thomas Sweeney was later convicted and sentenced to six years in prison, though initially he only served two and a half years.[2]

Julian Beck, 60-year-old actor who played Kane in Poltergeist II: The Other Side, died in 1985 of stomach cancer, with which he was diagnosed before he had accepted the role.[3]

Will Sampson, 53 years old, who played Taylor the Medicine Man in Poltergeist II, died of post-operative kidney failure and pre-operative malnutrition problems in 1987.[4]

Heather O'Rourke, actress who played Carol Anne in all three Poltergeist movies, died in 1988 at the age of 12 after what doctors initially described as an acute form of influenza but later changed to septic shock after bacterial toxins invaded her bloodstream.[5] At the time, she had suffered acute bowel obstruction, initially diagonsed as Crohn's disease, which may have been the cause of death.

Brian Gibson, director of Poltergeist II, died of bone cancer at the age of 59 in 2004.

He starred in The Family Stone, a horrible Christmas movie starring Sarah "Ugliest Woman in Hollywood Today" Jessica Parker.

JoBeth Williams also got out of it alright, and was in an awesome scene in season 5 of 24 that words can't do justice for.

You damned right he did. He did the show Coach for HOW long? That show was pretty damned funny considering that one of the stars was Dick Van Dyke's brother and the other ended up playing a racist prison guard on the show OZ.

The curse of movies about Jesus is pretty wierd too. There have been disasters in those movies. Cavezal (sp) was struck by lightning, and something happened in the Willem Defoe movie as well, and when I find what I am looking for I will add it to this post.

The Poltergeist curse is mostly fictional. Some of the "facts" aren't even real, and half the deaths were natural and/or expected. There were only, what, four of them anyway?
