The Corre are the new WWE tag team champions

I can't believe there has not been a thread on this yet. Coming off of the Elimination Chamber, only one title changed hands and it was not the WWE or World title like in recent years. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater captured the WWE tag team championship from Santino and Kozlov when Gabriel hit a 450 splash on Kozlov for the win. I figured Husky Harris and McGuilicutty would have won on Raw the night after the Rumble and then faced Slater and Gabriel. I guess I was wrong. Now with The Corre as tag champs, I imagine they will feud with the Nexus. I am guessing they will defend against Otunga and McGuilicutty in recent weeks and maybe at Wrestlemania. I am disappointed Husky is gone at the moment as I would have loved him and McGuilicutty winning the belts. If recent reports are correct, Husky was sent back to development. WWE likes his in ring ability but doesn't like his look. So I think Otunga and McGuilicutty will take the titles from Slater and Gabriel at Wrestlemania and if they don't have a match there then I could see them taking the titles at Extreme Rules. I bet Gabriel and Slater will defend there tag titles tonight on Raw and give Kozlov and Santino a rematch. I could see them holding the belts for a month or two before dropping them to David Otunga and Michael McGuilicutty of the New Nexus.

Yess... I feel these 2 work well as partners and even in the old nexus, they were always together and now this can kick-off a tag match at Mania with members of the new nexus..

How long do you see them holding on to the belts?
Until Mania, or if not Mania, then a couple of months after.. hopefully, they do a better job, It is their 2nd title run..

Who will they drop the titles to?
I think Nexus! Any members, and it will be at Mania..

Do you think Gabriel and Slater should be WWE tag team champions?

I do. I was happy when they became Tag Champs while in Nexus. I am one of the guys that believe WWE should revamp the Tag Division and this is one of the teams that I feel could truly help do exactly that. I like Santino, but he and Kozloff as Tag Champs is ridiculous. Every time they defended the titles against one of the younger teams (Nexus, The Corre), I always pulled for them to defeat Santino and Kozloff. Gabriel and Slater will not rise to become World Champions, but I think they both can become SOLID Mid-Carders, or a great tag team. Having them as Tag Team Champions, is a great way to push them both, simultaneously.

How long do you see them holding on to the belts?

I actually see them holding these titles for a good while. You would think it would be a Face Team that would dethrone them. Well, I do not see any Face Teams right at the moment that have as much momentum as Gabriel and Slater. Sure, someone could be thrown together tonight on RAW, but I just don't see it happening. To be honest, I am hoping they hold the titles for at least 6 months. A solid run until the summer will be great for them, The Corre, and more importantly, The Tag Team Division.

Who will they drop the titles to?

I'm just not sure. Most times, you would think it would be a Face Team. But I just don't see anyone currently that could do it. A team could be made in the near future, but I am not sure who it could be. I will make a wild prediction though, just for the fuck of it. I will say they drop the titles in some sort of multi team match. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus dethrone them.

Sure, why not?

Probably through Mania. They will likely have a couple of title defenses against Kozlov & Santino, maybe a feud will spark up between them and the New Nexus, but I don't really see a lot of focus going to the titles until after Wrestlemania.

Who will they drop the titles to?

3 options for me. Either back to Santino & Kozlov, maybe some combination of Nexus members likely Otunga and McGillicutty, or some random pairing of mid card wrestlers with nothing else to do.
