The trolling thing is a bit confusing. I guess the line is drawn when it seems the troll in question isn't really trying to accomplish anything other than heckling others for his own amusement with no one else really laughing at it.

I wouldn't be surprised.I heard something interesting from a source speaking on the condition of anonymity the other day: many of those miraculous votes for Dagger during the election were Sly descended from Mount Olympus posing as a mere mortal.
I just got banned from PW for the umpteenth time for bringing nothing of value to the forums. Such broad, discretionary rules often get the wrong man.The truth is, nobody here appears to know what trolling really means.
No one ever gets in trouble for trolling. It's a lot like the "Pissing off the staff" rule. They're safety nets. When it becomes apparent that you're not attempting to bring anything of value to the forums, we'll use one of these to get rid of you.
What is the point of multiple safety nets when you have total authority? Just end the rule book and put up two Cartman memes and be done with it. Respect my authoritahy and I do want I want.
Anyone that has been here a while that isn't a mod will admit Habs explained it perfectly. Then again we may be in uncharted waters as Nate made a logical point based on fact checking while I am rambling wildly by the seat of my pants and I have shit twice in the last 30 minutes and one of them was a close call for the aforementioned pants.
You only ban trolls who are without talent.
Rule #1.
How many times does Sly have to win this award in a row before mods stop threatening posters because trolling is "against the rules?"
I was just about to vote for you but saw you were somehow left off the poll. Better luck next year.
Just nominate me for that pimp slap award next year.
Trolling IS against the rules, so what we have ourselves here is an award/accusation...
