Tennessee lost today.

Milkyway!

Hodor!
I don't care what the scoreboard said. They stepped up, and they played. Considering the Florida defense is made up of nearly ALL seniors/juniors, and we're playing 16 freshman in and out of the game. Had we had a good quarterback we might have won, as Crompton threw two interceptions.

I think overall, we won though. They outplayed us, due to age, and having a good leader in Tim Tebow. But with out younger guys, and our mediocre quarterback we did QUITE well. Too bad effort doesn't put points on the scoreboard though.

It wasn't the blowout I expected, but Tennessee certainly didn't win that game. They were outplayed, and only some late points kept it looking respectable.

Yeah Florida had them at arm's length most of the game. There was never any real doubt in my eyes as to who was going to win.

Had we had a good Quarterback, we very well could have won. But you know, those 2-3 interceptions Crompton throws a week, and 2-3 fumbles he causes a week, REALLY fuck us over to hell and back.

You seem to be clueless as to how football works. The winning team is the one with more points. It's that simple. Being that Flordia scored more points, they won the game.

Don't give me your motivational speech about heart, effort, and whatever. You were out-couched, out-played, and sadly for you, won't get to sing Rocky Top all night long.

Tennesee wasn't even trying to win the game. They were just trying not to get blownout. Even when they were down 10 with like 6 minutes left, they still didn't even try to throw downfield.

They might have won the game points wise. But they earned themselves a large amount of respect tonight, and at the end of the day, thats where it really counts. People were fully expecting Florida to win anywhere from 30-60 points. Hell, we probably would have won the game, had we had a decent quarterback.

A bunch of seniors out playing a group of Freshman, without a real leader? What a suprise that they were outplayed.

Out coached? You're joking me to hell and back. We have more NFL coaching experience than any other team in the NCAA does, to my knowledge. Kiffin played without a leader, that couldn't even throw the ball over 10 yards without throwing an interception, along with his dad's dynamic defense, sacking TIM TEBOW 5 times, and breaking his 30 game TD streak? Yeah. They were outplayed, but it wasn't because of lack of coaching, it was becuase of lack of experience. Tennessee is currently playing 16 freshman, as starters, or second string.

We are singing Rocky Top at the football game party right now. Because we know next year, we'll have experience, and we'll be the one of the most dominant teams in the College Football leauge. Because we know tonight, we did quite well, and proved that we're not some team that you're just going to run over anymore. When you play the Vols, you're going to bring it your all, or lose.

They'll never earn back the respect that they've lost through Kiffin until he's replaced.

This is one of the stupidest things that I've ever heard in my life. Your quarterback didn't play well. It's that simple. You can't use that as an excuse ever. If Tom Brady didn't play for the Patriots, they wouldn't have won three superbowls. Doesn't that sound ridiculous? He does, and they did. Your quarterback is bad, and you can't use it as an excuse.

You have one freshman starter on offense and eight seniors. On defense, I count 7 seniors and no freshman starters. This is off of http://tennessee.rivals.com.

This is college football, not the NFL. Your head coach had ONE year in the NFL, a pathetic one with the Raiders. He was fired. /golfclap

Kiffin played without a leader, that couldn't even throw the ball over 10 yards without throwing an interception,

It's the person that Kiffin, who seems to be your god, put in charge of the offense. You can't heap all of the negatives on him, either. Kiffin's playcalling was awful, and Flordia's defense is great.

along with his dad's dynamic defense, sacking TIM TEBOW 5 times, and breaking his 30 game TD streak? Yeah.

Your defense was, admittedly, very good. Unfortunately, not good enough to win the game.

Where did you learn to count? I count one freshman starter, but maybe my depth chart is out-dated. And don't bullshit me with second string.

I'm so sorry.

 Wait, what? You mean, the team that lost to UCLA at home is going to be a dominant team? Yeah, you go ahead and think that. If you guys make a BCS bowl next year, I'll cut my penis off with a piece of aluminum foil.

Because we know tonight, we did quite well, and proved that we're not some team that you're just going to run over anymore. When you play the Vols, you're going to bring it your all, or lose.

See, I disagree. Teams with a .33 winning percentage typically aren't very good.

Incorrect. They earned respect tonight. That was made fairly clear. Urban Meyer looked Lane Kiffin dead in the eyes and shook his hand telling him good job. Thats respect, that he didn't have going into that game, that he came out with.

Funny, because with a good quarterback, I'm willing to put 100$ that Tennesse would have won. The Tennessee defense gave the offense many times to put points up on that board. The corners had very many great plays. The tailbacks, had very many great plays. But the problem was, we have no leadership inside that huddle, and we have no good quarterback that can throw the ball outside of a screen.

Once again, the second string is loaded with freshman. Corners and tailbacks are rotated with each play that the Tennesse offense is running. We had an injured player which added another freshman into the mix tonight. If you actually watched the game, or paid enough attention to the announcers, they made a very big deal out of the fact that Lane Kiffin was working 16 freshman all night.

Kiffin's playcalling was tremendous. He pounded it straight through the Florida defense for the first half, had several screens, the biggest problem the Vols have right now is simple. We can't throw the ball, without turning it over, because of a crappy Quarterback. If you can't throw the ball for more than a screen, its REALLY hard to make big plays.

Your defense was, admittedly, very good. Unfortunately, not good enough to win the game.

Eric Barry is a god. Worship him.

Where did you learn to count? I count one freshman starter, but maybe my depth chart is out-dated. And don't bullshit me with second string.

Read above.

I'm so sorry.

I'm not.

Have fun with that. We had a very bad night vs UCLA, who had a very good night. The Tennessee players thought they were going to come in, run through UCLA, and leave, just like they did with Western Kentucky. After the first half, and they realized that wasn't going to happen, you go ahead and watch what they did in the second half. With the exception of Crompton being absolutely terrible, they did DAMN good.

See, I disagree. Teams with a .33 winning percentage typically aren't very good.

Funny. We lost to the number one team in the nation, and damn well would have won had we had a good quarterback. Thats good.

Yes, and if Notre Dame had the Chicago Bears defense, we'd be damn good too.

What's your point?

I was about to ask if this was UT or Vanderbilt, if it was Vandy I would have thought 'It surprised you that they lost?'
