Never mind...just saw the crap "announcement" on WWE.com. Combat Angle signing with MVP? Give me a friggin break!

Honestly, I don't know if the WWE even wants to combat the Angle signing. I don't know if they even feel like they have to. Before the Angle signing, TNA was nowhere even close to being able to compete with the WWE. Now, I believe that they're worthy of being called competition....but they're still not where they need to be.

The way that they did the Angle announcement is something rare from the wrestling business that we haven't seen in several years. There was a huge announcement promised....it got alot of hype and it followed through. The announcement lived up to the hype...and that's rare in professional wrestling today. Some TNA loyalists and others are saying like that whole thing may have catapulted them over the WWE....and that it's only a matter of time before Impact is drawing higher ratings then Raw. But you know what? The verdict's still out on that.

We don't know for sure how much this is gonna help TNA......Angle could get hurt again for all we know and not be able to compete for TNA at all. The WWE may all of a sudden kick things into high gear with their storylines out of nowhere and produce shit that the "smarks" out there are happy with. TNA may wind up completely mis-using Angle just as Bret Hart was mis-used in WCW.

The "major announcement" thing we saw today was really just to help develop MVP's character because the way that his character is being made out to be, his signing is SUPPOSED TO BE A BIG DEAL. I think that WWE's just trying to focus on their own crap without worrying about whatever's going on in TNA. I don't know if they feel like they even NEED to combat Angle's signing announcement because obviously the verdict's still out on how the Angle/TNA relationship is gonna work.

They aren't worthy of being called competition yet. They haven't done anything with him yet except sign him and he doesn't have an exclusive deal so he may leave before you know it to do his MMA thing. It is too early to say they are competition now that they have Angle. Wait to see what their ratings are this Thursday, if they go up big then this signing was a big deal, but if they don't then who cares.

Do get me wrong, I completely agree with you. I'm just saying that signing this guy that noone has ever heard of or seen is given this big deal on their site. What I'm saying is, and I may or may not be speaking for everyone is that they should keep fans hungry for the show and come up with something worthwhile. TNA did it perfectly like you said. They kept it away from the IWC (which is difficult to do nowadays) and came through with a shocker. WWE doesn't necessarily need to combat this, but it would get fans interested again. Who knows, he may turn out to be a big deal.

lol i think we should all take a deep breath. WWE wont combat the ange to tna thing becase they wanted him to go there instead of fighting in mma. Dont get your hopes up to much when it comes to a Major announcement
