but the 30th was St Andrews day. Unfortunately the day was marred with uncertainty over what the full extent of a freak accident where a police helicopter crashed into a busy pub in Glasgow was.
As someone who hails from Aberdeen where several helicopter related tragedies have happened over the past few years, this was tough to read about and has caused many people to reiterate the need for better helicopter safety inspections.
