Talk Of Possible Tag Title Match

On the main page and some other sites, there are reports stating that Zeb Coulter has been constantly Tweeting about The Real Americans' clean victory over The Usos last night. As a result, this has fueled speculation that The Usos will defend the titles against The Real Americans at WrestleMania XXX. Original plans called for The New Age Outlaws to be involved, but there seems to be no word regarding their role for the show. The last report I read stated that Road Dogg was legitimately nursing a back injury, though no details on exactly what the injury was or how severe it is.

Last week, Raw inserted some segments that were shown in some European countries that featured Cesaro talking about entering the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. However, a sign indicating that The Real Americans MIGHT be getting a tag title shot at WrestleMania has popped up; Cesaro is no longer listed among the participants in the battle royal at WWE.com.

If TRA get their shot, I expect this will be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back. Some sort of miscommunication will go down resulting in The Usos retaining, causing Swagger & Cesaro to finally meltdown.

I get the feeling the Tag Titles will be put on the pre-show so even if this match and subsequent breakup does occur, they'll have Cesaro pull double duty as most people will be unaware or indifferent to anything that went on. I watched most of Raw and didn't see the aforementioned Cesaro segment (I am in Europe) but I wasn't giving the show my full attention. Regardless of what happens, I'd like the Usos to get the win in a competitive match against a non-fractious opponent. Give them a good moment and carry them into the middle of the year strongly.

I'd love for this to be the tag title match for Mania, it's a strong combination of 4 athletes that have worked really hard over the last year to establish their teams, often in the enhancement role, but now with the chance to shine.

There really should be a tag-title match at this years Mania but they don't seem to be many options. The NOA are probably done and Rybaxel are in the battle royal. There is also the fact that the battle royal would be a good place to push Cesaro.

I'm fine with The Uso's vs The Real Americans but it has been done before - it doesn't excite me. I'd personally add The Rhodes brothers put it on the pre-show and have Cody, Goldust, Swagger and Cesaro all be in the battle royal as well.

After Smackdown I felt like that were perhaps building towards a triangle between these two teams and The Brotherhood. That would be my preference; it would be a unique match, and include the team that really lit a fire underneath the tag division last year. Maybe it could be held under Tornado Tag rules to differentiate it a little bit from the Fatal Four Way that took place at TLC 2013. Either way though, it will be a pleasure to watch any two of those teams go at it for the belts at Wrestlemania, especially if they had a good amount of time to work.

I've always wanted The Real Americans to get a run with the belts. However, it looks like they're going to break them up so as the OP pointed out, this is probably going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back. If Cesaro is moving on as a face, then I think Zeb Colter stays with Swagger, which is useless since Swagger is going nowhere and Cesaro probably can't make it on his own with Colter since he stinks on the mic.

I agree. It would be pointless to put on the main show just to see the RA lose again. The Usos just recently won the titles and typically WWE gives lengthy reigns to their tag champs (Epico/Primo, Team Hell No, The Shield, Kofi/R Truth)

For the record, Cesaro's name has been removed from the list of participants in the Andre Memorial Battle Royal. So I definitely think we're seeing The Usos vs. Real Americans for the Tag Team Title at WM. Maybe the Outlaws use their rematch clause to make it a triple threat. We could even see a Fatal 4-Way if they decide to throw the Brotherhood or Rowan & Harper in the mix.

We'll see The Real Americans officially split here and Cesaro vs Swagger will take place at Extreme Rules imo. I wanted to see them have a run with the tag team gold for a while before they split, but Cesaro's clearly breaking out with the fans, so it's hard to argue this move.

I was also kind of hoping for Cesaro to win the IC Title in a triple threat with Big E and Swagger at Mania, but I'm fine with this also. As long as they're used in something more important than the Battle Royal, I'm all for it. Big E is in the Battle Royal, so I really hope this doesn't mean we're not going to see the IC Title defended at WM yet again.
