So, the lead-up to Summerslam was pretty good overall. I finally got the Main Event scene figured out; here are some notes from the month.
RAW notes:
Triple H. opened the card the following night from NoC and Miz ran out and attacked him, during his match with Slater. HBK then came from the crowd, and fought off Miz, allowing HHH to win. ~ Later that night, HBK and Miz faced off in the Main Event; Miz won, then ended the show by beating down HBK even more.
The Corre (who's on RAW) did the numbers game attacks on Kevin Nash. (Slater/Gabriel) Until Syxx made the save! (why not Hall, I don't fully know, maybe he was drunk, who knows) So through the month leading to Summerslam - we had Corre v. Wolfpac matches.
Wade Barrett (alone, for some reason) has laid out Tyler Black 3 straight weeks, leading into Summerslam. He's won easily because of this, and Black has yet to have an actual match that hasn't began with him getting clotheslined from behind before the bell rings.
Sheamus beat R-Truth to become the #1 contender to Bryan's US title. (that feud is getting old to me already)
The cpu wanted Cena to be the #1 contender, even though Miz beat him in a Cage match. (lame)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smackdown notes:
The first week after NoC, the opening match was Kane v. Chavo w/ Jeff Hardy. Punk shows up with a ticket in hand, even though he's in the 2nd to last Main Event to crown a #1 contender.
wtf
Kane chokeslams Chavo, only for Primo to rush out from the back (Chavo's partner) and Hardy to constantly get the officials attention. Kane won after tons of time was wasted fucking everyone up. Punk did nothing??
So, jumping to the #1 contender's match; it's a Triple Threat! Jack Swagger v. CM Punk v. the Undertaker. Winner faces Sting at Summerslam. Before the match it was announced it was made a NO DQ match. During the match, Punk hit a GTS on Swagger - only for KANE to come out (pyro and all) and chokeslam all THREE individuals in the match. Punk was done first, he woke up first, and pinned Swagger because of it; becoming the #1 contender. (I marked out for Kane's mid-match intro)
Sting in the Main Event was attacked from behind by Drew McIntyre. This started their match, in which Sting won in the end.
A week later, McIntyre would face Big Show - only for Sting to come out and attack McIntyre and pay him back, I guess. I loved that Sting just randomly jumped into a feud with McIntyre though.
Wolfpac (on RAW, but competing on SD for some reason) beat Morrison & Truth to become #1 contenders to the Tag titles. (makes sense, since the Corre had a feud going with them on Raw)
Final show before Summerslam - McIntyre gets a pinfall victory over Sting, in a NO DQ match, after hitting a low blow. Somehow this jumps him into the #1 contender's spot for the IC title, even though Christian had already won a #1 contender's match for a shot at the belt a week or two before this.

Summerslam notes:
Sheamus v. Bryan opened the show. Sheamus attacked Bryan before the bell, and won the US Championship easily after hitting the High Cross.
McIntyre won the IC title from Austin Aries - which could lead to a Champion v. Champion match at the next ppv (HIAC).
before the Tag title match - The Corre jumped Nash & Syxx, leading to a brawl before the bell. Nash jackknifed Gabriel through the announce table, then proceeded to bust him open with a chair. Somehow 2 chair shots were fine, but the 3rd caused the official to call for a bell that never sounded to begin with - so the Corre won via DQ
Because "I" wanted Miz v. HHH for the title, and kept pushing for Miz to become #1 contender - but the cpu wanted him to feud with HBK, and Cena to become #1 contender; somehow another Scramble match was made. HHH (c) v. HBK v. Miz v. Cena v. Jericho. I have no clue why Jericho, but during the match - HHH (and later, Miz) used sledgehammer shots on Jericho and busted him open pretty badly. The match ended with Miz hitting a SCF but time expiring before he could get the 3-count on HHH.
Sting v. Punk would somehow be made into an Inferno match (obviously TNA officials are running my shit now, and this pisses me off that I couldn't just make it a single's match) the only plus is.. Sting won, Punk got burned and in the cut scene - it shows Punk's tights, AND FACE getting burned. I can now use the Punk/mask attire and play on a "he got burned bad" storyline. YES!!
I'm now onto the month of Sept. and Hell in a Cell. The opening card for Raw has Cena v. Miz in a #1 contender's match - I can tell you right fucking now, Miz is winning.
Miz v. HHH will be made for HIAC.
