Svr '10

It's a highly enjoyable game, but in small doses. Played in short bursts it's extremely fun and doesn't get tiring. However, played for a while, it gets exhausting.

Definitely worth the purchase, though.

I 2nd that, I really enjoy the game and think it's one of the best yet. I didn't get Austin as an unlockable character and I'd like that but again I think the gameplay and the season is top notch. Announcing, double team moves and overall interaction is above average. Real good game.

Waiting for an update to include Bret Hart. :worship:

I got this game for christmas yesterday for my wii and I really want to start playing it. And from what you guys are saying, the game looks really sweet. Now I don't know if anyone else on here (ANYONE for ANY SYSTEM) has had this problem or not, but I'm just gonna throw it out there. I turn my Wii on, select SVR10. The screen comes up with 'Taker, Cena, Edge, and everybody. I see the copyright crap, the don't try this at home screen, another screen with the WWE logo in the corner, then I see the autosave screen telling me not to turn off my wii or push any buttons and crap like that or my data will be lost. And it tells me to press A to continue. So I press the A button, but nothing happens. Like the game's broken or something. I took the game back to gamestop, told the girl what happened and exchanged it for a new one. I put the new one in my wii and the same thing happens. I still can't get past the autosave screen. Did this happen to any of you when you guys played? I'm starting to get highly pissed off cause I really wanna play the game! (no pun intended:p) I tried playing other games on my wii and they worked fine, it just happened with this one. so I don't know if this is supposed to happen, or what. cause I think it's kinda weird that the same glitch would happen in 2 separate games. If this glitch did happen to any of you guys, what did you do to fix it? Thanks a lot.:)

This is definitely the best wrestling game from the SVR franchise. That's no surprise, as each year it keeps improving more and more. SvR10, however, improved a lot, and added a lot of new features. This game has limitless potential, and a lot of longevity. The game play is as good as ever, and matches feel authentic. Virtually everything has been revamped in a positive way.

Overall, this is a very solid wrestling game, perhaps the single best wrestling game on the market, and undoubtedly the best in its franchise.

Well i have the game. and its pretty cool how they added all those new features.create and entrence movie?unnecessary the create a storyline i find is a bit to complicated and indeepth for my taste. consumes WAY to much time. i tired it and literally said what the fuck?its nice feature and all but just dont have that much dedication to my game. like the 50 caw slots tho, yes very nice. glad they took away the HUD. always got in the way.

Also nice how movesets arint so limited like they were last year. but it does kind of take away the uniqueness of a move when a last ride can be applied as a normal move.whays the point of having it as a finisher when u could just add it to your grapples?pointless if you ask me.Championship scrambles are not fun, stupid addition.would of much rather prefered 8 man tag matches since the HUDS gone and dosent get in your way. like the new sumbissions.much easier. the royal rumbles is a blast to play with a bunch of friends. Pisses me off you cant defend titles in the elimination chamber, or is that just my game?i Also love how easy it is to get your superstars states up. Last years game just took wayyy to long a required a lot of skill, at least thats the games expectations lol. i just wish road to wrestlemania was so damn repedative. There are other ways to get a slightly different storyline but overall its the same storyline all out.BRING BACK FULL ON CAREER MODE.like in HCTP. road to wrestlemania seems short and not really worth playing again.unless u didnt unlock selected stuff.OMG I LOVE THE BLOOD IN THIS GAME.its a bloody frenzy when your perched on top a guy and just punching away and away just opening the cut even more and more as you do it.ITS A FUCKING BLOOD ORGY. Tho i do find it a bit strange how wwe still allows blood in their games but not in reality? I guess because its animated blood and not real. Its always great to play a match with your friends and constantly asking...is that your blood on my chest or yours?hahaha good times.

Overall its a very satisfying game. some features i could do without. but it is a vast improvment of last years game which i thought was a bit disappointing.

Close, but no cigar is what i have to say about this. Just seems like a game with a ton of great concepts, that didnt get fleshed out enough to be of much use in any practical way. Create a story has LOADS of potential, but just isnt quite what it needs to be. WHY in the world it couldnt just be a continuous GM mode with all the added stuff is beyond me, wouldve made it TONS better, and have way better continuity. The editor interfaces and overall use are a bit clunky, and uselss in some parts (why cant I have continual music playing throughout the opening of my show? duh...)

The overall graphics and presentation are fantastic though. Entrances, pre match and post match presentation are fantastic, and commentary has been greatly improved this year, at least the AI on whats actually happening in the ring has. The matches look and flow beautifully as well.

With that said, this game makes me feel like 2011 will really be the game to get, as all the fine ideas that were brought here will be improved and more usefull, and fun.

I give this bad boy a B

I own Smackdown vs RAW 2008, 2009, and 2010, and 2010 is the best one yet.
2010 has modes like Career Mode (different from 2008), Create a finisher (different from 2009), RTWM (similar to 2009), and new things like Rivals and Create a show (forgot its name) mode. When I say that they are different from 2008 and 2009, I mean better.

Create a finisher is one of my favorite parts of the game, as you can create most of the finishers from TNA. One thing I want in SvR 2011 is the option to Create a submission, or I want them to put in the Liontamer as an available finisher.

The RTWMs are really good, but the one part I don't like is how they left out Jericho. I don't think Batista deserves one.

The Career Modes are really good too, because you have 4 people (or teams) that you can face. I like the idea of the #1 contender's match, too.

I'd give this game an A-.
