Superstars Followed By ECW On SyFy

Some people say they want ECW to have a second hour. Others don't. Some people want Superstars scrapped. Others don't. So why not try to remedy that by putting Superstars on SyFy before ECW. We start the show with some buildup to tonights ECW main event, start with some filler from the other brands, put an ECW match in the middle and then start the actual ECW show. We can skip the opening segment cause we already did it and move on to other segments and matches. It give's more time to developing ECW's young roster. Sure some people might think that its dumb to have 2 WWE shows back to back. But let's face it. ECW needs more time to develop the younger talent, but on the other hand, it wouldn't be enough to stretch for an entire hour. Not to mention if we add just half an hour that means even more WWE time in just one week. So what do you think? Is this idea good or not?

I don't think the WWE Superstars/ECW in one day is a good idea, especially back to back. Each day of the week you look forward to something (besides Wednesday) for a WWE program and Thursday seems empty. And two different shows would just seem weird back to back. It can be good for ratings, possibly. It would be a hassle to tape everything so early because of the it would be near the air time and would be hard to edit in such a small window of time for the SD/ECW matches.

It's not a bad idea, I'll say that. Especially if Smackdown moves to WGN next year.

Ageof619RKO has a good point about taping the matches. Maybe this would mean moving ECW to tape before RAW.

Of course WWE would have to make the pertinent changes to the taping schedules. Perhaps changing Superstars over to Mondays completely. However, if they have a buildup to ECWs main event, they should avoid mentioning it as happening "later tonight" and go with "On ECW". Even though the schedule might need some overhauling, the idea is very good and can help both shows in the long run.
