Put All the "Divas" on ECW?

YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
I've been thinking of this for quite a while now and even-more-so in recent weeks with watching how the WWE is booking their television programming.

Would it be a good idea to move all of the Divas to ECW? There are a few reasons why I think this is a good idea and I think it could go over well if done right.

Raw and Smackdown have been featuring alot less Diva matches than they used to. With ECW being, mainly, a show for developing talent they are also pretty star-lacked with the exception of Christian and Shelton Benjamin.

Im not saying make ECW an entirely Divas show, but if ECW were able to take an extra hour on of programming each week they could become the constant Diva's outlet for some good matches and fueds to develop. Unify both Women's Championships to make the "Undisputed Women's Championship" and give them some quality air time. With the likes of Beth Pheonix, Mickie James, Savannah, Gail Kim, Michelle McCool, Melina..ect all on one show, we could actually get some great matches out of the ones who are truly talented.

Your thoughts?

Nope thats the worst idea ever.

The Diva's don't get a lot of time because no one cares about womens wrestling. They are strictly eye candy and filler. They make money and thats why they still get air time.

If they can make diva's division like in TNA, it is acceptable. Just get rid the 'non-wrestlers' like Maryse, Kelly x2, rosa, etc and they will be fine. Unify the gold and bring Beth, Melina, MJ, Gail in a single division we will see a lot of improvement. Better to get Natalya and Katie into the ring.

not gunna lie bro but that isn't a good idea at all this wouldn't work with the divas only on one show it just wouldn't work. The reason that the divas don't get much air time is because the fact that noone really cares about the divas division to most people there only something to look at they don't care about the wrestling noone really does

It seems like a good idea from many standpoints to pool all the female talent onto one show to finally received a push they need to solidify themselves. However, the audience & their interest in the womens division is at an all-time low with nothing to their names that will detract from audience viewers. How can you expect some of the consistently low-rated segments that hardly put on good matches with some of the underused talent going against overrated models trying to make them legit onto one show and expect to make some profit?

The worst thing to do is put any women wrestlers on ECW. Where is Katie Lea besides her valeting her brother or the Bella's being nothing but eye candy promotion? What happened with Kelly Kelly & the Expose? There is nothing for them there, even with switching the titles to that brand. If this was the TNA KnockOut's, then there would be a good chance of pulling off. Since its the Diva's, no way man.

This is coming from a Diva Defender.

You want to take my one hour slice of developmental wrestling and turn it into a PoS womens wrestling show that wont draw a dime? No thanks.

As much as I loved womens wrestling when we had Lita, Victoria, Trish etc. as credible threats to the title, these days womens wrestling is an outdated joke and I don't think it would be rebuilt at the expense of developing talents who need the air time.

Just my Opinion

I think that's a horrible idea. You can't punish all the divas just because the majority of them need more improving. The people (including me) who actually like the divas and defend them even if many of them aren't very good would hate to see all the divas on ECW, where you'd probably get an average of many 2 divas matches a month. Here's where I think all the divas should end up...

Alicia Fox: I think she was fine on Smackdown. She was really improving by learning from Michelle McCool. Though, she is also improving on Raw, Smackdown is a much better suit for her.

Beth Phoenix: She is perfect for Raw. However, since the Divas Championship is on Raw, some may agree that Smackdown is the better place for her. Competing for the Divas Championship and not winning it is not a bad thing at all.

Gail Kim: I never understood why she was traded back to Raw. She wasn't booked good on Raw in her first stint, and isn't doing it now. Attempting to make a name for herself on Smackdown before going to Raw would have been great. She's one of the best female wrestlers, but you'd never know it.

Jillian: Smackdown is the best place for her. She is very talented (I think), but Raw never worked for her. On Smackdown, she can showcase her talents a lot more.

Kelly Kelly: I'd put her back to her roots on ECW. She's improving all the time, but I still don't consider her a serious threat to any title. Her athleticism is wonderful, but I just can't see her as a title contender.

Maryse: Here is someone who could flourish on Smackdown and Raw. Not just because of her ring skills, but because of the character, her gimmick, and the fact that she gets a lot of attention from the WWE Universe. (Not to mention her looks). That would help her succeed on either brand.

Mickie James: Just like Maryse, Mickie James could succeed on either of the major brands. However, Raw has been her home since the start, 4 years ago and she's been very good at staying at the top of the divison, whether she's champ or not. She'd do just as good on Smackdown.

Rosa Mendes: I'm upset that WWE doesn't let her show her talents. I know she's a great fighter, but WWE does a horrible job of letting you know that. So, I'd put her on ECW until she shows her skills and then she can go back to one of the other brands.

Eve: Smackdown... great for her. That is all!

Layla: Smackdown is the best place for Layla. She is very underrated, in my opinion and really needs to gain more attention from the audience. There's a reason why she's usually featured in many of the diva matches on Smackdown. She doesn't need the title, just the air time.

Maria: I am very upset that WWE has taken Maria away from the ring. When she was first drafted to Smackdown last year, I was really starting to look at Maria as a future champion. Now... I have absolutely no idea if she's improving or not. I'd say keep her on Smackdown, build up her ring skills more, and then she can go back to Raw.

Melina: Melina falls in the same category as Mickie James and Maryse. She can be at the top of Raw and Smackdown. She got her start on Smackdown, began wrestling on Raw and won all her titles there, and now she's Smackdown's 2nd diva (in WWE terms, of course).

Michelle McCool: Same as Maryse, Mickie James, and Melina. McCool has stayed on Smackdown since the start and has gained a lot of credibility. I don't think she'd get lost on the Raw roster, so she could be on either brand.

Natalya: Natalya is in a league of her own. She's the only diva I think can flourish on all 3 brands. WWE still hasn't showcased Natalya's talents a lot, but we all know how good she is. On ECW, she could go through any other diva on the roster, on Smackdown (if given the chance) she could be put in the same category as Trish Stratus, Lita, Sable, and Chyna. On Raw (see Smackdown).

The Bella Twins: WWE made the right choice in putting The Bella Twins on ECW. You don't know who the best wrestler is. One twin starts the match, gets messed up, goes under the ring, the other twin comes in and wins the match. It gets boring, and you don't know who's the talented one (if either). If WWE doesn't plan to seperate them and let them go their own ways, ECW is the better place for them.

Katie Lea Burchill: PLEASE PUT HER ON SMACKDOWN! She is just a beautiful performer... very underrated, I might add. If she is put on Smackdown and gets some ring time every once in a while, she could gain so much more credibility. A title reign wouldn't be a bad idea either.

With that... I only see 4 divas who should be on ECW. They are Kelly Kelly, Rosa Mendes, and The Bella Twins. Putting all the divas on ECW would be such a bad business decision. You can't punish Mickie James, Natalya, Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, and the other good divas and put them on ECW, just because some of the others aren't performing on their level.
