Summerslam 2013: Natayla VS Brie Bella

On RAW tonight this match was announced for Summerslam. It will be the first ppv in recent WWE memory to air to divas matches. This is all a result of what has been happening in the Total diva's program which has seen a feud between Brie and Natayla. Since Natty has been on a roll lately including a win over the Divas champion, I'm going with her to win.

I expect some sort of wild ring side brawl/calamity involving Nikki, The Funkadactyls, and possibly Eva Marie. Hard to pick a winner, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one ended in a DQ or no contest, so they can further the feud, and continue to push Total Divas.

I wish this crap was on the pre-show and Ambrose vs RVD was on the actual PPV. I like Nattie but the Bellas are a vacuous waste of time and don't need to be involved in actual matches. I guess Nattie wins here so she can challenge AJ at NOC.

Glad to see Nattie getting a PPV match for a change. Considering that the Bella Twins get so much attention from the WWE I would expect a win for Brie, but with Nattie getting a submission win over Divas Champ AJ on Raw last night, I have a feeling she is being set up as the next challenger so I expect her to win the match.

In fact, this is a match made possible by the existence of Totally Divas. Had the show not been created, there very well might not be a diva match at Summerslam at all.

Hard to pick a winner, as it depends on whom they're looking to feature in the storyline which, again, might depend on what they have planned for the show. Of course, since the show relates events that happened a couple months ago, timing is important.

Why did the Bellas come back to WWE? I have a feeling the company wanted to produce a reality show with their wrestling personnel featured, and they lured the Bellas back with the promise that the show would be built around them.

I'm with the people that think Natalya will win and go on to challenge AJ for the title at NoC. It'll give the WWE an excuse to put AJ and the belt on a couple of episodes of Total Divas while she's feuding with Nattie.

The Bellas always said they were coming back to WWE when they took their break, so I'm sure there was more to it than that. They're not the best in the ring (although Brie has improved greatly) but they are passionate about wrestling.

Yes, people obviously do care. Why would they scrap the division when AJ and Kaitlyn draw ratings and get very good fan reactions and Total Divas is getting higher ratings than TNA? Comments like these are pathetic and really expose the sexism in wrestling fans.

What a complete waste of time this will be. It's great that Natalya is getting a match, but unfortunately I doubt she will get the win. What's worse is that she is facing Brie Bella. I personally hate the Bellas. They are NOT talented in the ring or on the mic. Natalya could use a win here to gain some momentum toward a possible Divas Championship match. That would be the better decision to make in terms of the victory, although Brie will probably win if Natalya's booking in recent years is any indication. I hope this goes on earlier on during the event to get it over with quickly.

I don't care if this is meant to help promote that stupid divas show. I have no desire to ever watch that garbage excuse for a show and this match won't change my mind. In fact, I can already tell you all that I will be taking my dogs for a walk or heading to the kitchen for a snack during the match. I have no interest in watching it. This match is a complete waste of everyone's time. Now, if Natalya were facing AJ for the Divas Championship or one of the girls who can actually WRESTLE, that would be different. Sadly that is not the case. I want Natalya to win, but I have to predict what I think will actually happen here. Brie wins, no one will care, and we will all move on with our lives. Fingers are crossed for an actual push for Natalya later down the line.

Natalya vs Brie Bella - the fact that Natalya is having to wrestle a f**king Bella when she should be challenging AJ for the WWE Divas Championship (that feud has "money" printed all over it) is a disgrace. But hey, why push a talented Diva towards the top of the division when there's a shitty reality show to get over (I'm looking at you Total Divas). I see Natalya getting the win over Brie because Brie's banging Bryan and therefore is the most expendable of the Bella twins.
Prediction: Natalya wins.
