So is the fact that Suicide (Frankie Kazarian) recently asked for his release from the company finally proof enough that this oven-mit wearing, self-depreciating masked avenger gimmick sucks? I'm not even that concerned with the fact that TNA tried build a character who actually refers to himself as the action of someone taking their own life here, either... I'm concerned with what this has done for Kaz, which is presumably nothing but wasted his time.
Newsflash, Dixie: The video game failed. No one bought it, so why would they even know who the hell he is? Could Suicide be any more irrelevant? You don't think any other X-Division star could have helped put over D'Angelo Dinero? Suicide is not over, he was never really over, and he's never really going to get over, so why not try to move on from it as painlessly as possible?
Hell, you could even push the unmasking thing again like you did a few months ago with guys like Shelley, Sabin, Creed and Lethal. Let Dinero unmask him.
Give Kaz another run with his "The Future" gimmick. Everything about his character screamed it, from his in-ring style right down to him drawing that box symbol in the air with both his index figures to cap off his entrance. Hell, all his finishers are derived from the Back to the Future films, anyway. Why not just come full circle with it?
It couldn't possibly hurt him any more than he's already being hurt as Suicide.
Lose the Metallica nonsense he wore prior to the Suicide days, get a new set of tights with some future-y graphics, slick your hair straight back and do your thing, Kaz!
