Stevie Richards To Get A Push?

He's defeated Thorn twice in as many weeks. Personally I dont see him getting a proper push. I think it's more likley that Kev has been naughty and there punishing him. But I'm all for a Stevie push. Bring back RTC if they have too.

Yeah, I don't think it's gonna be a good push myself, as he never hit the Stevie Kick in either of the matches, but I don't think KT is getting punished either, cause three weeks ago (I believe) he destroyed Dreamer. Who knows...this won't be any sort of huge push for Stevie though, something tells me he'll be back to his jobbing ways.

I hope not, I like Stevie. Fair enough he isn't the most skilled person out there, but he has something about him that if you let him develop his character on TV a bit more, he could easily be a mid-level heel or face.

I hope Stevie is getting a push. He deserves it he has been in WWE for awhile and has had a bunch of diffrent gimmicks and since he has been on ECW he has been nothing but enhancement talent, they didn't even use him in the orginals vs new breed feud either. So its good to see Big Stevie cool on ECW tv getting wins, he deserves it plain and simple.

I like Stevie. He is one of those people that the WWE may never get rid off because even though he has lost just about 80% of his matches, he still done alot for the WWE with the whole RTC and the pairing with Victoria. Both were great things for the company and it was nice to see him get some hard earn wins over a decent wrestler like kevin thorn during these past couple of weeks.

RTC would be great But what's with bringing old factions back? I feeel that RTC has marred Stevie Richards, but hopefully a push would change that. I love watching him wrestle and as it's been said he's a true original. Stevie RIchards for the ECW Title!

I am no expert but I believe that Stevie Richards is getting some kind of an underdog push, you know David and Goliath kind of thing, pretty much what they are doing with Cena and the Khali, Umaga and the eventual Snitsky feud which we all know will eventually happen

But we all know the WWE owes him something after letting him get beaten down by Tomko while dressed full on drag queen (i.e. Stuffed bra, and granny panties)

Since when has beating Kevin Thorne meant anything?

That guy's been on the receiving end of the shit stick ever since he was signed by WWE. he isn't that bad, just always gets stuck with ******ed gimmicks.

But back to the subject at hand, eh, it wouldn't affect me if he got a push or not. Not an important guy, won't really affect anything if he got pushed or not so I really don't give a shit.

Pfftt. Stevie's time is over, and as the Praxer said, who cares if he beat Kevin thorm twice or more?? Kevin Thorn is lost in the middle of...nowhere. No storyline, no character development, the only thing about kevin thorn these days is the Original Sin, but even that have become a little boring move, because of the boring Kevin.
But i rather see Stevie Richards teaming for a couple of matches with Tommy Dreamer against Elijah and Thorn, at least we could see Elijah and tommy feuding.

I really hope Stevie gets the push, I think he would be cool to have the RTC back, but I doubt that with the Face push he's been recieving, we'll see that. Maybe it's just that ECW is almost left dry for new competition, so they might finally be slowly giving an origional a deserved push. Although I doubt we will see it ever again, but the day i see another ECW origional win the ECW title, I will have a 1 man party.

Grow up, they pushed Stevie because there are basically nothing left for Kevin Thorn to do except squash weak people weeks after days after me. Nothing but same old stuff. Pushing Stevie is like them pushing Hornswoggle; sure they get a push, but they wont go anywhere else but Heat, like Shelton Benjamin and Super Crazy and The Highlanders.

Stevie is just getting wins over Thorn as they are burying him and what better way to get buried then lose to ECW's own Jobber Stevie Richards....so really this is nothing but to show Thorn he is lower then Stevie...Not much will happen from this as soon he will be jobbing to Punk again.

Yeah I'm in two minds. i'd love to see him pushed but like Jake pointed out both his wins have been cheeky finishes.

And RTC, my favourite faction EVER I would love to see them return but most of them have moved on from WWE and we want to move forwrd, not back. But to see them again *IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD*

I think it would be nice to see Stevie get a decent push. Although it's tough to push more than 2 or 3 guys when there are only 12 wrestlers on the entire roster! Stevie is not the most talented wrestler in the world but he is more than adequate to be one of the top guys on the WWECW roster.

Yeah let's be real. Kevin Thorn was once Mordecai... nothing to write home about by beating him twice. I love Stevie, I've met him a few times and he's been nothing but great, but he has been jobbed out for too long. It be nice to see a Barry Horowitz type push, let him win maybe on a pay per view as a sign of respect, but nothing more will come of it. Maybe if they had the TV Title still, but seeing they don't, I wouldn't expect much.

ECW needs a make-over...new talent and maybe a TV and tag Team title. Once this happens, Stevie will get a win here or there but mostly lose to top talent...If the talent and the belts do come into play, Stevie will find a partner and win the tag titles and then fizzle out as usual

This is more like a mini short time push. As you said after all who is Kevin Thorn? nobody. So therefore they gave Stevie a couple of wins against him. I'd like to see him get a short push his in ring work doesn't bore me and he deserves it. Also he's on ECW so whats the harm?. His in ring work is actually not bad at all but I wouldn't doubt if Thorn or someone else squashes him nest week. Steviewill be back to jobbing shortly IMO.

Everyones saying that beating Thorn is no big deal. But Stevie hadn't been on TV in months before those victorys. And Thorn had appeared in the New Breed. And had wrestled at Mania. So his push was significantly better than what Richards had been recieveing for the past year or so. And Thorn used to work closley with Ariel. And she's hot. So there.

That one victory isnt leading to a Stevie Richards push. Its leading to a major ass whooping courtesy of Kevin Thorn. WWE was just throwing Stevie a bone like they do twice every 2 years. And I type this as Thorn attacks Richards backstage live on ECW.

The point is, The ECW originals are a joke, and dont get me wrong, I'm sad about it. WWE has fired Sabu, traded Sandman, and their jobbing the rest of em (Nunzio, Dreamer, Richards, Mahoney, the list goes on and on) WWE has taken what once was ECW and have truely made it WWE Jr.

Stevie Richards never deserved to become a jobber upon arriving in the WWE. He was a guy that could put on a decent match and his run in ECW was actually good. He's not exactly known for winning titles, but he should at least have a solid push every now and then. The only time he had a push in the WWE was when he was the leader of RTC. Oh, and the multiple times he won the Hardcore title thereafter. He should win matches against guys like The Miz and Matt Striker. He's jobbed enough and he's way overdue for some victories.

Stevie Richards and the term, "push" should not be used in the same sentence.... his only true claim to fame was his work in ECW and I wouldnt call that a claim to fame. His in-ring work has always been solid but not spectacular. the man is great at getting his ass kicked. i will admit that stevie is looking pretty healthy as of late, but his veteran status will only be used to help the new young guys, like Thorn, to get over....

Well i did like him a lot when he was in the right to censor. They did have really good heat at there highest point but when that came to an end he seemed to lose the momentem that he build up.

I can't remember last time Stevie Richards got a decent push. I think he's deserving of this little push. If WWE decides to revive the TV Title, I can see Stevie Richards involved in the title picture for awhile.
