Steve Austin Reportedly Turns Down Tough Enough and no showing for WM 31

I saw this was already posted but it went to trash section here on wrestlezone. Because a certain "StoneColdhell" couldn't wait to say how Austin owning WWE and the fans and pissing on everybody like a boss.

Their seems to be egos involved in this again.

- We noted over WrestleMania 31 Week that Steve Austin did not travel to Santa Clara for the festivities and this caused a lot of shock within WWE as he was expected to be there.

It turns out Austin was scheduled to fly into San Jose on the same flight that The Undertaker was on as they both live in Texas. The flight landed and Austin was not there. WWE even had an employee waiting to pick Austin up from the airport. It appears they still thought he might show up as there was a room with his name on it backstage at Levi's Stadium until mid-week.

If you read the article it tells you why. Apparently Vince and Austin have had a falling out of sorts. Vince is pissed that Austin asked HHH certain questions on his podcast. I think the main one was about Chyna and the Hall of Fame.

That got Chyna upset, and she starting posting shit on Youtube and calling HHH and Stephanie out. HHH had to come out and make a public statement about it. I'm thinking Vince probably thought it was a dead issue and shouldn't have been brought up, since it's caused shit.

He might be right, but HHH might have screwed up as well. In any case the questions to HHH is what has caused this to happen.

I always figured when these podcast happened there is a brief overview of the type of questions asked. Thats how it goes on tv shows and radio.

It is a shme that Austin wasn't at 'mania but to be totally honest with you I didn't evn notice at the time of watching.

With 'Mania in Dallas next year and Vince wanting to break the record they need Austin more than he needs them. I fully expect a reconcilliation. After all it's not the first fall out and won't be the last.

Are the podcasts going to be as edgy now? I mean they did advertise the Austin one as hard hitting.
I can see why Vince is pissed though it's not just his company that was brought under the scope with thhe Chyna business. If word got to his grandchildren then they will know daddy used to bang a pornstar. Obviously they would have found out some day. But because they found out because someone opened their mouth they will be pissed at that person.

I don't think there is an issue. Dirtsheets make something out of nothing. They probably didn't ask him to come to WM. All this cause Jericho is on the network on Monday. I don't think that means they won't work with Austin.

This is so dumb, first off Austin doesn't live in Texas, he lives in LA, he just has a ranch in Texas. Second he openly said on his podcast several times in the weeks leading up to Mania that he wasn't going to be there, he & his wife & their 3 dogs would be watching WM on the network from the ranch. They literally left in their RV for the BSR the week of WM. I think all these reports are pure horseshit.

With WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas in the Lone Star State it is only fitting for Stone Cold Steve Austin to be there and for Austin he should be the Special Guest Host for WrestleMania next year seeing as how it is in his home state of Texas but also they want to break the attendance record too so if you can't have Austin as a Special Guest Host then you can have Austin as a Special Guest Enforcer or as a Special Guest Referee in a match

Like I said in the deleted thread, the issue is likely to do with the Chyna situation.

Austin's reaction to the Chyna response betrayed that he knew more about the situation and that the response was BS. The likely reason is that the Chyna "punch" was something that was an open secret around the business but one that had not leaked to the fans. The sheets don't report it for fear of losing access etc... As a guy who is a convicted "wife beater" and had to carry that stigma, you could imagine him being annoyed that Hunter was "getting away with it" and then of course the denial... the only one who has "broken cover" and corroborated was Russo, but people dismiss him as having a grudge anyway.

This really smells like Austin was hoping for Trips to say, "some stuff happened there and it's difficult for her to go in but "never say never" " but he came out with BS about google searches... If the boys who were there then KNEW that he'd hit Chyna and was now whitewashing, it would be an issue for Austin who still gets slated... they then decide to give Jericho the slot... it's not a good sign for an ongoing relationship.

Of course Paul may not have done it, but I think most people are able to judge for themselves from Austin's reaction at the time that he was in effect calling BS and knew more than he was saying. People don't actually say why Savage didn't go in for so long either...but even Lanny refused to refute the notion of the Steph stuff, just said that "if he wouldn't talk about it while Randy was alive, he won't now he's dead..."

Just another page in the "Vince McMahon Tries to Control the Circus Carny Aspects of his Industry" saga.

Ultimately, he can't have it both ways. You can't pretend that podcasts will be hard hitting and no topic is forbidden, and then get pissy when the topic goes to something uncomfortable.

Steve Austin has not been a wrestler since 2003. I personally couldn't care less about him not being at Mania. I mean we saw The Rock, Hogan, Michaels, Nash, Hall, and the New Age Outlaws. Isn't that enough? How many former stars do we need?

I mainly care about the matches. The Hogan-Rock-Austin segment from last year was cool, but we don't need to try to recreate it every year.
