Steph vs. Vickie

With the impending (I think) return of Steph to regular tv... it got me wondering... who do you prefer and who do you think draws more heat?

In Stephs major runs she drew immense heat and was hated by all... her screaming and manipulative way was awesome.

Vickie draws more heat than anyone imo right now and makes anyone associated with her an instant major heal. EXCUSE ME is so successful.

I prefer Steph but Vickie would be second only by a close second.

So who do you love to hate more and who is (as an onscreen character) more sucessful? And are there anyother female heel characters that maybe are close to their levels?

Well First I Love Stephanie Mcmahon on TV<3, But lets get to the point.Vickie is a great Heat magnet and has done a great Job in getting heat and getting some guys over,but Stephanie just has that presence which is must watch TV.I dont hate either of them,but Stephanie is not on TV all the time so she would get less heat if she was to return as a major heel.But Vickie is annoying for the crowd because every week they hear 'EXCUSE ME!!!' atleast 3 times a week and it can be annoying but gets so much heat coz there fed up with her in a way,so Vickie gets more heat most probly.But like i said STephanie has that presence and is great,So i will go with Stephanie.

Back in the mcmahon helmsely era... Steph could draw just as much heat as vickie... Her exchanges with y2j were classic...but again excuse me makes the crowd boo so loudly the live crowd cannot hear her...

I love Steph as much as the next guy, but she didn't draw nearly as much heat as Vickie did over the past few months. There have been reports that you literally couldn't hear her screaming over the mic because of the massive amounts of nuclear heat she was drawing. Steph is great, too. Her character is vindictive and powerful enough to be an actual threat, but Vickie is ear-shattering annoying, and because of that, her character succeeds in every way possible.

tl;dr: I probably prefer Steph, but I can't deny that Vickie gets three times the amount of heat Steph can get.

Personally I prefer Vickie. Why? She's a natural heel. Vickie Guerrero's character is a "cougar" who likes younger men but shes also a great manager. Plus I like how Vickie manages young guys mainly to get them some heat. Did you see the Cena/Vickie/Ziggler segment on Raw last year? Now that's drawing heat at its finest if Vickie could draw so much heat that she couldn't even talk in the PG era then just imagine the heat her character would have drew in the Attitude Era.

Steph's character was the **** that everyone loved to make fun of. I don't think she drew as much heat as Vickie did. Plus it was the Attitude Era it was so easy drawing heat back then especially when your character is a ****.

So I think Vickie does a better job than Steph. When it comes to managing she's a perfect female manager because she does her job well and she has the look of someone you'd love to hate. Steph on the other hand doesn't have a look of a female heel manager and someone you'd love to hate. It's just that back then a top guy like The Rock was making fun of her and even called her a "hoe with big breasts" once when singing happy birthday to her which really got her over as a heel character.

Stephanie is a much better performer I'd say, at least when she gets heat its because of the angle or what she is saying. Vickie has just become a pantomime villain now and I'm sure that 95% of the crowd don't know why they boo instead just doing it because its Vicky and thats what the crowd do when she appears or talks

I agree, Steph was a much better performer, she could help storylines develop threw what she says and her actions and in doing so she could get major heat. Whereas Vickie gets heat for saying two words over and over but isn't as good as Steph in helping angles develop.

I love both... Vickie is a great heel... she draws bigger heat than most of the actual guys!!! I hope that doesn't change.... As for Steph.... She is great and i want her back really bad! The Thing is that Steph can work both, as a heel or a face... she's great behind the mic and has a great TV presnece, guess you can say she takes after her father there... Both are phenominal!!!!

Steph seemed like the better heel to me since it was really hard to ever feel sorry for her. Lately with Vickie, I've kind of felt sorry for her with how Dolph has been treating her. And with King's comments at ringside too. Like King just trash talks her the whole time and she just tries to brush it off without talking back to him. Basically clearly being the better person during the exchange.

But with Steph, she was a total bitch all the time during the attitude era, and it was really hard to ever feel sorry for her besides in only a couple of circumstances. The only person that really got booed more than her was Vince.

As much as I like Steph, Vickie is on a whole other level when it comes to making the fans hate her. Vickie is more successful as a female heel because all she has to do is open her mouth to say one word and she is instantly boo'ed out of the building. Steph was great as a female heel but even she couldn't generate the hatred that Vickie does. No one else comes close, unfortunately.

Vicke draws more heat, but she really doesn't do much else. I mean, like some of you said, Steph helped advance storylines. Vickie really hasn't. I mean, these days all she essentially does is introduce Dolph Ziggler & interferes in matches from titme to time. However, I think she'd do a lot more if she started managing Swagger. I don't know why, but I just feel it could happen.
