I omitted the bio chapter names. Savage/Steamboat AGAIN?

The Iron Man Challenge is great stuff and the 2/3 falls is an hour long and match #2 in the Flair/Steamboat Trilogy From Heaven.

Some awesome stuff on this set. The 84 Flair match is a forgotten gem in their storied feud. This set is easily worth the dough just to see some of that awesome rare footage in DVD quality, yeah, definitely looking forward to this one.

I'd buy a DVD of just Flair vs. Steamboat. Anyone that wants a lesson in ring psychology, track these down:

Chi-Town Rumble
Clash of the Champions 6
Wrestlewar 89

There are a ton of others, but that's the main three. Yes I like Steamboat a lot in case you couldn't tell.

Don't forget their pair of 94 matches at Spring Stampede and an episode of WCW Saturday Night, those were both excellent as well. Really though was it ever anything less than excellent when you've got Flair and Steamboat in a ring? Kind of hard to not be awesome with those two in the ring.

That's what I meant by there are others. WAY back in the day a buddy of mine got into comp tapes and lent me a 6 hour tape of nothing but those two. Amazing to put it mildly.

I agree...Steamboat had a great ability to carry Flair make Flair and his average, at best, ring work look great.

that WOULD be a sight to behold.

I bet he does that flip upside down in the corner thingy. I like that, its cool. So much so, I wish he would do it in every single match ever.

I think it's unjust to say Steamboat carried Flair in all their matches. If they had one or two great matches against one another, then okay... you might have a point, but the fact they have quite a few... to me that means Flair and Steamboat just had great chemistry against each other, not that one was carrying the other. The fact is, Flair's style meshed well with a few wrestlers, and Steamboat was one of them.

Are you implying every one of your favorite wrestlers didn't also have a same routine they'd plug into every match? Triple H? Bret Hart? Hulk Hogan? Shawn Michaels? Come on.

Oh Sly, saying silly things to try and awaken the sleeping dragon. You scoundrel you.
