SS Possbility?: Cody vs. Christian (MITB vs. IC Title)

Sure would elevate the prestige of the IC Title if that's what WWE ultimately wants. I see Christian going over again at No Way Out. Then both obviously being in the MITB, with Cody winning. That way Christian can live up to his claim that he remembers a time when the IC Champ was the #1 Contender. And calls Cody out to prove it since Cody went over him in some screwy way @ MITB. Cody would go over, and resume his proclamation that he'd be the first IC/World Champion since Warrior.

I think it'd be an interesting build, and could be the beginning of Cody's main event push. Just a thought.

I like the idea only because I love Cody Rhodes. I was a bit so-so on Christian coming back and winning the IC champ since I thought it would be better if he was thrown at Sheamus from the get go, but if they use Christian to boost Rhodes' stock then sure, let it happen.

Why would Cody put up a hypothetical MITB win against Christian, unless Christian was the WWE or World Heavyweight champion? The MITB winner already has a guaranteed title shot, Cody would have nothing to gain and everything to lose.
