Allegedly we have a double main event tonight but in reality only one of the matches has received any focus at all. The two matches are Sting vs. Savage for the world title and Giant/Piper vs. Hogan/Nash in a bat match. Take a guess as to which is getting all the attention. Hogan and Nash’s problems have gotten nearly all the focus for the last few months and I’m sure they’ll dominate the show tonight. Let’s get to it.

I actually ordered this show. I was so stoked Raven won the belt, yet so bummed when Sting lost his. And of course, the following night Raven would lose the US Title to Goldberg for basically no reason. I was beyond pissed at that point; I almost stopped watching WCW all together, but they still had my favorite wrestlers at the time, so I stuck with them no matter how bad the company got and despite them treating my favorite wrestlers like absolute crap.
