Getting Noticed By Management
I used to watch TNA every week last year and it was good, they got Angle and a 2 hour show and started to get PPV in arenas outside the iMAPCT! zone. Then it became sameish with Angle every week and stupid stoylines and comedy. Everyone was saying it was shit and boring yet i kept watching it in hopes it would get better. No one watched it yet i still did hoping it would become something different from the WWE.

I watched it up till January when it became to much for me to handle i resigned and stopped watching it every week. I kept watching the PPV because they where in big arenas and were getting better than ever. Still the iMPACT show was crappyish.

So it comes to now i recently saw the Lockdown PPV and all i can say is great. Man it was great, it has some good matches and a great main event kinda long on the MMA side of things but still had the realism i have been clinching.

So i said to SPAWN why the hell do you watch the weekly impact and he told me how good it had become so i had to see it for myself. So i saw the last impact the one with the 3 title shots, the after Lockdown. All i can say is that it too was great. Sure it has some parts that seemed silly but we cant all be choosers and pickers at least compared to the stuff they used to have.

It had 3 title shots 2 of which where title changes and this itself could have been done on a PPV but TNA choose to do it on a free weekly show just to show how good it can be. It also had a Tag team match with some build up and the cliffhanger of will Christian and Rhino Tag team. Also had a good main event with a mix of up and coming stars with some experienced old ones, it wasnt bad kinda good and served its purposed. The Womens title match showed King might not be as powerful and unbeatable as thought. The x division match was good had some good action and then Petey Williams who couldn't see him cashing in his money in the bank oops feast or fired.

Overall a good show with some improvements like meaning full and story driven backstage stuff with some more realism and thought put into matches.

Sure it wasnt amazing but better overall than the stuff i was used to seeing.

Oh and i still love LAX man stick the tag title s back on them they where the shit, im sure you could find some good teams to brawl with them.

So sorry for leaving you iMPACT! and fuck you Disco Inferno looks like management seem to think realism has a place in today's wrestling, oh what's that you where only following the trend or as i call it brown nosing and ass licking.

Lockdown was overrated. The Lethal Lockdown match was good, Angle/Joe was decent, the rest were nothing to write home about. And what the HELL was the fucking point of the handcuff match? Stupid, stupid, stupid.

yeah, i was watching the thing and it was just sad...i knew "super eric" was gonna win and it saddened me.....I felt bad for aj too...Nash and morgan helped christian get off the cage but poor aj had to climb down himself. I reall felt bad for him

okay super eric is a waste of tv time they could theoreticaly use to put over better wrestlers

that match was stupid thats why i had completely forgot about it when i was writing this thanks for reminding me

this is why TNA is still stupid because it has good matches and a stupid gimmick in between that kinda spoils the feel of the show

what im trying to get on about is that Lockdown might not have been good overall but at least its better than half the stuff they used to put out

Glad to see you have come back from to the dark side of sports entertainment. lol

But answer me this. Everybody says that Super Eric if a waste of time that could be used to get over another wrestler. Can somebody PLEASE tell me what wrestler could be using that time instead and exactly how they could get him/her over.

Yeah even the real eric young was better all he needed was a serious gimmick none of this im a total idiot just eric going out to fight and he even takes on the big guys if he got beat hed just try harder next time, he could have been a alright babyface but they ruined him by doing the im paranoid and scared routine.

I mean they choose Eric to replace the Alkie Scott Hall in that PPV main event so i guess they could have used that to push him.

As for Kaz remember that small push he got a short time back, when he got to fight with some of the top talent and he was in a tag match with Booker T.

Id give the tv time to James Storm or LAX tho just because i like LAX and James Storm needs a good story.

or they could actually expose some of the guys that are over with the fans but not on tv.....MMG, LAX, James Storm, Kaz, sonjay dutt (w/o the guru gimmick), Christopher daniels (w/o the curry man gimmick).

Whats funny though is the super eric deal is getting over with the general audience....the smart fans arent liking it but the general audience is....also i think super eric is how they're trying to get kids into tna.

On a side note i found out something very interesting about eric young.....Idk if anyone noticed this but the originaly "dont get fired" campaign they used on tv with eric young was actually a real thing backstage with Chriss Parr (abyss). Apparently abyss is a very paranoid person backstage.....He is always afraid to be off tv for long periods of time because he's afraid he wont come back/he thinks he's getting fired.

Chris Parks aka Abyss was reported to be like that backstage very paranoid "was my match good" "do you think they will like it" ect.

He works for creative backstage and is supposed to return to the ring as Chris Parks sometime.

So d oyou mean the gimmick that EY has that he is paranoid is like Abyss or do you mean Abyss was really facing the sack?

was it is? the gimmick wasnt that good anyway but it was sure as hell better than Captain Gaylord gimmick or whatever shit they gave him now.

They should just make EY serious and that might shock fnas nad make them like him rather than just laugh or cry at how bad he is. INFACT just keep the gimmick and get big dudes to do him in as we Scots say.
