Getting Noticed By Management
I used to watch TNA every week last year and it was good, they got Angle and a 2 hour show and started to get PPV in arenas outside the iMAPCT! zone. Then it became sameish with Angle every week and stupid stoylines and comedy. Everyone was saying it was shit and boring yet i kept watching it in hopes it would get better. No one watched it yet i still did hoping it would become something different from the WWE.
I watched it up till January when it became to much for me to handle i resigned and stopped watching it every week. I kept watching the PPV because they where in big arenas and were getting better than ever. Still the iMPACT show was crappyish.
So it comes to now i recently saw the Lockdown PPV and all i can say is great. Man it was great, it has some good matches and a great main event kinda long on the MMA side of things but still had the realism i have been clinching.
So i said to SPAWN why the hell do you watch the weekly impact and he told me how good it had become so i had to see it for myself. So i saw the last impact the one with the 3 title shots, the after Lockdown. All i can say is that it too was great. Sure it has some parts that seemed silly but we cant all be choosers and pickers at least compared to the stuff they used to have.
It had 3 title shots 2 of which where title changes and this itself could have been done on a PPV but TNA choose to do it on a free weekly show just to show how good it can be. It also had a Tag team match with some build up and the cliffhanger of will Christian and Rhino Tag team. Also had a good main event with a mix of up and coming stars with some experienced old ones, it wasnt bad kinda good and served its purposed. The Womens title match showed King might not be as powerful and unbeatable as thought. The x division match was good had some good action and then Petey Williams who couldn't see him cashing in his money in the bank oops feast or fired.
Overall a good show with some improvements like meaning full and story driven backstage stuff with some more realism and thought put into matches.
Sure it wasnt amazing but better overall than the stuff i was used to seeing.
Oh and i still love LAX man stick the tag title s back on them they where the shit, im sure you could find some good teams to brawl with them.
So sorry for leaving you iMPACT! and fuck you Disco Inferno looks like management seem to think realism has a place in today's wrestling, oh what's that you where only following the trend or as i call it brown nosing and ass licking.
