Sometimes Stereotypes Are True

Nate DaMac

Fuck erbody but me
So I usually go grocery shopping at the Wal-Mart close to my house. It's predominantly ran by blacks, like, 95% at least. Well today I decided to switch it up and I went to the Wal-Mart in Lee's Summit where the only difference is that the employees are mostly white. It was an amazing experience. I went in, got my groceries which were exactly where they were supposed to be, stood in line for maybe 4 minutes and I was done.

The Wal-Mart by my house is disgusting, lazily stocked, and it takes a minimum of 20 minutes to get out. The sad thing is that there is virtually the same amount of employees at both places but for some odd reason, the Wal-Mart more black employees is the one that sucks more to shop at.

Basically, if you Black folks want to kill the stereotype that you're all lazy, stop being lazy. ;)

I do the same thing with my walmart around here. It's not necessarily a black thing, more of a social thing.

The closest walmart to me is about 5 miles, but in the middle of the most white trashy neighborhood there is. That store is run bare most of the times, and the people (employees and customers) look like they came from a fucking circus.

I'll drive out of my way to avoid that Walmart.

The one by my place has the same thing. It's ran by natives though. Was built on the Rez, and owned/operated by the Rez.

Not talking about Batavia, are you?

It's not that they're lazy, it's just they aren't able to take enough time from their drug dealing to bother with stocking a store.

Actually, I'm sure the difference is merely wealth. Lee's Summit is a pretty wealthy area, is it not?

there, fixed, you forgot the one thing sly

Correlation does not imply causation.

Sly is essentially correct here. The difference is the wealth and quality of the neighborhood, not in the color of its employees.

Think before you speak.

I didn't know Harthan during his first run, but I'm glad he returned. He's an awesome, no-bullshit type of guy.

I'm talking exactly about the eastgate one. It's like a vacation destination for all the white trash from Brown and Adams county. It's unbelievable what shops there.

Most stereotypes have at least a small amount of truth to them, or they wouldn't exist. Of course, individuals should never be judged as part of a group, but rather on their own merit, but certainly, groups of ppl can be characterized and generally speaking, I would bet a majority of those comprising the group would fit said stereotype.

No more than Independence. In fact, Lee's Summit has quite a rep for having a lot of illegals. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they certainly aren't the wealthiest people.

Calm down broseph. If I intended on being serious I'd have posted this somewhere else. I'm just being racist in the safe zone. ;)

Yeah, Eastgate (the whole area, really) is pretty bad. So, which Wal-Mart do you go to, when you do?

I go to Milford. It's great because all the snobs in Terrace Park pretty much are boycotting the Walmart there for whatever reason, so it sits down there all big, nice and shiny. No white trash. It's essentially a perfect store. It has everything, and is empty and clean.

Sounds like heaven, compared to the one in Fairfield at Bridgewater is fairly white trashy. Hence, I go to West Chester (Cin-Day Rd. Location). Much better.
