Smoking?

Anyone here a smoker? Been a smoker? Just started smoking? lol

I've actually been a smoker since I started the process of divorcing my now ex-wife at this time last year, and try as I might, many many times, I have not yet been able to quit. I refuse to waste money on the patch or nicotine gums or any shit like that because I believe its just a matter of will power.

Anyone else been there done that?

Im a smoker,Iv been smoking since I was 17 and it was probably one of the worst things I'v done.Iv tryed to quit several times but it lasts for a day and then I got and get some.I guess my life get to stressful.My mom uses the patch and she still smokes with it,but she doesnt smoke like she used to.She was smoking about 2 packs a day and now shes down to less than a half a pack a day.

I've neve been a smoker but I have been told that it is cheaper to be on the patches compared to smoking

What about all of the money that you are wasting on cigarettes?

I have no problem with anyone who smokes cigarettes, I just don't understand why anyone starts.

I mean, with things like pot or any other drug there's at least the high that draws people in and makes them like the fact that they're doing what they're doing.

With cigarettes, there's nothing there in the first place, and afterwords it's all addiction that keeps you coming back.

I tried smoking, and although I don't like it, I think people who smoke have made their own choice and they have to live with the consequences... And so do their loved ones and stuffs.

I started smoking at 12 when I was at school and i've only just quit at nearly 22. I only quit because I was smoking sixty a day and it was costing me nearly £100 a week.

My dad doesn't smoke anymore but my mom still does, I try to tell her to get off it as well, but it's pretty hard to get your parents to listen to you, even though your the child and their well...the parent!

I'm 16 so I can't smoke but even if I was legally aloud to, I wouldn't. Plus I made a promise to my parents that I wouldn't smoke.

I hate smoking. It's yukky! My mum smokes and when she lights a ciggarette in the kitchen I scream at her then run out and slam the door. And most of the time the person who smokes don't get anything round with them but the people who they smoke around do!!!
