Slight change in SS Tournament rules.

Hulk Hogan's Brother

Stop asking me what I'm gonna do!!!
I was reading through the rules last night. I was thinking that a slight change might make it a bit more interesting and allow the participating teams to do more rather than just sit around and see how the game unfolds.

What I am suggesting is that a team should be allowed to vote for and against the members of the other team just once. They will vote before the voting is opened for all the members.

A player may not be voted against twice consecutively but he could be voted for consecutively. That way, the maximum points a member will have before the voting by other members begins is 10 and the minimum a guy can have is two.

It is basically about identifying the strongest and the weakest member in the other team. Say you could basically ensure that a member of the opposite team has 10 points if you think that he is weak enough to get 10 votes against his name. The guy with 2 points could be the guy who you think is a pretty strong contender and so you are lowering his points from the beginning in order to ensure he gets eliminated quickly.

Basically, I think it adds a bit more strategy to the game.

Yes.

Oh wait, I mean no.

Seriously though, it's nothing personal Rattle, it's just not a good idea.

Yeah, maybe it isn't. I was just thinking that the actual teams involved in a contest don't exactly get to do a lot after forming their teams. So I came up with this. Oh well, I guess the classic system works best.
