What does it actually do? I just downloaded it because I have a USB headset and apparently once you have one of them, you must get skype. But what the hell is it?

It's a software tht lets you make 'calls' using your headset anywhere in the world (as long as they have skype)

.. You could have told me. I've had a webcam and mic for ages. I just now have one in convienient headset form.
