Skip Sheifield

Ok, i liked Skip in his short run with the Nexus. But i think this injury helped him in his career. I mean look where all the other former nexus originals are, jobbers, even D.Bryan isn't going anywhere just yet. SO, maybe when Skip returns he can mack a huge impact in WWE.
Here are a few of my questions.
1. Raw or Smackdown?
2. Major Star or -soon to be used to be-?
3. What title will best fit him?
4. Who will he feud with?
5. Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what?

1. I say put him on SD! and let him gain momentum, maybe start feuding with the future world champion Cody Rhodes. Put him against Henry, that would be a great storyline if you think about it.
2. I know that some of wwe's higher up people are high on him, and i think he can be World Champion material.
3. The title that best fit him would be the world title.
4. Like i said Rhodes or Henry.
5. Im not completely sure on the gimmick. Maybe keep his bad a-- country boy type gimmick.

So, Opinions?

1. Put Sheffield on Raw because he's huge and has the charisma to be larger than life
2. MAJOR star
3. WWE/WHC
4. Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Great Khali, Mark Henry and smaller heels who cheat
5. Tweek his country gimmick, no cowboy hats or jokes. All business. JR can get him over

I think Skip Sheffield if he can stay healthy can be the biggest breakout star in WWE since Cena. No other superstar with that size has a personality. Skip went from a hillbillly stereotype to a convincing enforcer in one night.

Skip has gold written all over him. He doesn't need a strap to get over, but he's easily the best guy to bring in to give Mark Henry his come uppins. I agree.

1. I agree start him off on smackdown let him build himself backup to a RAW level. But you never know with vince he might see something in him we dont.
2. He has all the talent to be a major star, who knows were he would be if he didnt get hurt.
3. The world title would prolly fit him best and be a major player on smackdown, but to get his feet wet maybe the intercontental championship.
4. Mark Henry is a good choice, i can even see a randy orton feud, a shemus fued, I think to start him off when he comes back have him feud with wade barrett(have skip say its wade fault why he got hurt and missed so much time causing a set back in his carrer?)
5. I like the BadA** country boy gimmick, or i think he would be able to pull off a BadA** biker gimmick like taker, prolly not as good but deffently better then Chuck Pulmbo...LMAO

1. Raw or Smackdown? Smackdown

2. Major Star or -soon to be used to be-? Not right away, but eventually he'll be big.

3. What title will best fit him? Start him off with the I.C. title. If he can get over with the fans, I see him winning the WHC in under a year.

4. Who will he feud with? Start off feuding with Heath Slater. Slater can make him look good in the ring and they have history. Next I'd put him against Barrett, this can be a really good back and forth feud. Then I'd have him take the strap from Rhodes *hoping Rhodes has the belt for a while*

5. Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what? I'd like to see a bad ass redneck gimmick. Similar to Stone Cold's personality, but with his own twist, but for the love of god, get a new catch phrase. Yep, Yep, Yep, What it do makes him sound ******ed and like a red-necked wigger.

1. Raw or Smackdown?
Smackdown to balance the shows since Raw's got Mason Ryan

2. Major Star or -soon to be used to be-?
This is really dependent on how he's used, he has the POTENTIAL to be a major star, but nearly everyone in WWE does.

3. What title will best fit him?
If they do it right, he goes straight for the World title

4. Who will he feud with?
Barrett initially then Orton then Henry

5. Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what?
I definitely think he should change his character, here's what I think they should do: basically you repeat Henry's formula. You have him come back and cut a promo and in this "reality era" he should just keep it real, this is exactly what I think he should say

"It's been my dream my whole life to be a WWE superstar, and I was willing to do whatever it took to get there, so 8 long years ago I tried out for Tough Enough, I went through all the crap, the obstacle course, the humilating stunts, and for what? Only to watch some loser who never amounted to anything win it (Daniel Puder) and then to watch another loser (Miz) go on to great success, then I finally got a developmental deal with the WWE and I busted my ass, I did whatever I had to to get noticed, to get bigger, stronger, and faster I'll admit I made mistakes (failed wellness) and I was fired for it, but I kept trying and trying, and finally I got my second chance on NXT and again had to go through a bunch of stupid humiliating tasks, and for what? The only way I was able to get noticed was by being Wade Barrett's bitch in Nexus and destroying everything in my path, in the process getting seriously injured. While I was at home thinking about how my career could be over, something dawned on me...I have the potential to be the most dominant big man this business have ever seen, and I'm not taking anyone's crap here ever again"

cue cheers, Barrett comes out belittles Skip, Skip runs through him on PPV, and he's on his way to the top, as a face (something WWE needs more of).

1. Raw or Smackdown? I think you should start him out on Smackdown and have him start slowly to make sure he is fully ready to return and to get ring rust off of him.
2. Major Star or -soon to be used to be-? I really think Skip could become a major star if WWE uses him right. He has very good charisma for a big guy and I like how they were using him in the ring for his size. He could be another good big guy like Big Show was back in the day.
3. What title will best fit him? I think he should go for either WHC/WWE because I don't like the idea of big guys having the IC/US because that is a division for smaller guys that have tons of skill but don't have "the look" to be a world title holder.
4. Who will he feud with? I think he should have a fued starting with Heath Slater where he goes out after Slater's match and destroys him and tells the crowd he is going to destroy everyone that treated him like crap in the WWE. then go onto Justin Gabriel and then now that he got a few fueds under his belt to help WWE see how crowd reacts to see if he should be face/heel (I personally think he could be a great heel) then you have him go for Wade Barret and have him and Barret have a great fued with Wade not getting ran over but ultimatley putting on good 4-5 star matches but ultimatly have Skip beat him. Then you have him jump to Raw in a trade for someone mabey Mason Ryan to trade big for big. Where on Raw he just dominates David Otanga (or however you spell the pathetic wrestlers name) and Mciculty (who I think could be alot better if he takes some time to go on Superstars to get better and if he gets rid of Otanga) and have Skip injure David and Mciculty to give them time off to get better in the ring. Then have Skip (if he is heel) go on to a good fued with John Cena kinda like Mark Henry did with Orton where he starts out going after Cena from behind but then have a much better for the title then Henry vs Orton was (I am glad Henry won but I think they could have made it a better in ring match for orton but w.e.) Then Cena actully puts someone over by letting them win clean (like Orton did for Henry) and definitly after that he would be considered a main eventer and this gives him a good story line for a while.
5. Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what? I think he could make the country gimmick work if he tweaks it a bit so he doesn't sound so stupid and I could see him trying to be like Austin but I think WWE should think of a fresh new country gimmick that will work perfect for him. But I could also Skip become someone like Henry but not as over where he always puts a good match on but will lose some and win some. Unlike Henry who hasn't lost in a while but I am glad they are finally using him like he should be and I see where they are going with him to make him like Big Show was for awhile where he dominates and when someone finally beats him that will put that wrestler over.

1. Raw or Smackdown? - Raw
2. Major Star or -soon to be used to be-? - Major Star
3. What title will best fit him? - Starting off, Tag Team with Ryan.
4. Who will he feud with? - I think that him and Ryan should team up being the two members of Nexus who never got to truely shpw their "potential" due to injury. Im sure an entertaining feud could be built with Air Boom.
5. Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what? Him and Ryan should do gimmicks that compliment each other in a tag team.

Like I said, I really do think him and Mason Ryan would be a fun team to watch, plus it's something new and fresh!

this is probably going to get me "reported for spamming" by the mods but i just have to say it...Skip Shefield still has a job!??!?!!! i honestly didnt know he was still with the company i thought they fired him a few monthes ago! i think skip shefield has been gone way too long to actullay have any importance when hes back as a face he sucks,as a heel he was okay but i think on either brand he would end up lost in the shuffle although i just dont think hes all that good i was never impressed with him

I did whatever I had to to get noticed, to get bigger, stronger, and faster I'll admit I made mistakes (failed wellness) and I was fired for it, but I kept trying and trying,

Two failed wellness at about 245 pounds now at 270 he's natural hahahhaha

Unfortunately he CAN NOT WRESTLE. They will be stuck with a bunch of big guys who can not wrestle..and that is not good. Under contract for 6 years, injury prone (this isnt his first injury).. I don't see much.

1. Raw or Smackdown?
Smackdown.
2. Major Star or -soon to be used to be-?
I didn't know what did you see on him, but I don't see him ever becoming a star. He got the body alright, but he doesn't have what it takes to be a star. I bet the highest he can reach is to be on the mid-card status but never on the main-event.
3. What title will best fit him?
The tag-team titles. This is where he can shine. He should grab a partner and fire up the division.
4. Who will he feud with?
perhaps the face mid-carders? Or he can be a jobber for Alex Riley, Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara, Daniel Bryan etc.
5. Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what?
I want to see him become Barrett's b!tch again. Sad to say, but he can only shine with someone charismatic on his side.

He should return on Smackdown and he should be a major star. Skip is gold, and I see him going for the world title. His cowboy character should tweaked so that he is instead seen as just a southerner, like stone cold, but push him like the Goldberg. When he returns he should destroy Mark Henry, it would completely put him over as Mark has been taking people out right and left, and has lots of heat for beating up JR and King. After crushing Mark Henry and winning his world heavy weight title, he continues dominating (Goldberg style) until about wrestlemainia time, where he brags about being the most dominate world champion ever and there is no one left the is worth his time...gong...Undertaker appears and it's Skip vs The Undertaker and it's awesome because Skip has been built up so much he it makes him a very credible threat to Takers streak. He of course loses to the Undertaker, but that doesn't matter because that one of the biggest rubs in the business, Taker wins the title, but then loses it back to Skip some how after mainia.

Skip would be better off on Smackdown. They need more people at the moment in their midcard so that would be a good spot for Skip to return in. He would be a soon to be star rather than giving a huge push right away because slow build ups are often better, just look at Rhodes. Speaking of Cody Rhodes, I would have him drop the belt to Skip so he can move up the card. Skip should dominate the midcard a bit to establish himself. Bring back his enforcer character from The Nexus. That was much better than his annoying cowboy persona on NXT. After dominating the midcard for a long time he could go on a Mark Henry style destruction spree to prepare for a world title run.

Raw or Smackdown?

Smackdown, Mason Ryan has just come back and he's on Raw. Also he could have some decent feuds on SD, with guys like Rhodes, Henry or Christian or he could have a feud with Barrett which would make sense as Sheffield got injured while he was in Nexus and Barrett was obviously the leader.

Major Star or -soon to be used to be-?

He will become a major star no doubt because Vince and some others are high on him, but if you mean when he comes back, I think he'll be feuding with who the IC Champ is at the time and then he'll probably slowly but surely make his way to the top.

What title will best fit him?

IC Title, when Cody moves to the top and drops the IC Title there needs another person who can run with the title and I think Skip is the man. I think he could also make a name for himself if he can get a great reign with the title.

Who will he feud with?

Wade Barrett or whoever isthe IC Title at the time of his return, I think him and Wade could have a good feud, with the fact that both men were in Nexus being the key part of the feud. Or like I already said he could win the IC Title and make a name for himself.

Will he keep his country gimmick, or change his character? If so, too what?

I don't know, but if it were up to me I think it would be good to have a big guhim as a young guy trying to make a name for himself and defeating the heels could be the thing to make a name for himself. What ever gimmick, I think he'll be a face.
