Should Ric Flair the Nature Boy Retire????

I think Flair should retire from wrestling and join the smackdown color commentary team. Imagine the fights he and JBL could get in, it would be priceless.

He should get another title run imo. I heard that he might get a rock style run at the belt and i think that would be a fantastic storyline, he is still capable of putting on class matches (ignore the routine raw matches he has, some of his ppv matches over the last 5 years have been unreal), and id love to see him go with any of the Raw main eventers (bar umanga, though thats not a criticism of umanga, just his character/persona).

The thing is, putting wreslters like Kenny with flair really does rin his legacy i think as he should be doing promos with big stas, i would love a Austin vs Flair match as Austin dosent really need to wrestle flair, there would be only weapons etc and stuff, what u rekon?

Finally- here is a good idea in a WWE thread. I agree 100% that Flair should be a heel. I feel he is one of the best ever at creating heat. RAW certainly needs a pick up and this may be a good way to do it

If he decides to retire guarenteed he'll have the title before he goes. We know WWE are suckers for people retiring now.

ill like to see Ric Flair take the title before he retires even if its only for a short period of the time, and the idea of Flair V hogan, i think would be a good fight of the 2 legends.

Flair vs Hogan Could be on the card for WM23, if vince quits the idea to put Great Khali against Hogan. I think Flair is gonna be in 1 or 2 more PPv and thats it. (Maybe he give up at Summerslam, with a Title Match Against Kenny or somethin)

Im really sick of people thinking THEY KNOW when people "should" retire. If you dont wanna see Flair, fine, more power to you. But saying you know when he or anyone else "SHOULD" retire is arrogance beyond belief.

I like Ric Flair and I hope he is around for a while yet.

Yes, his personality is more of a heel then a face. But Raw has too many heels, so they can't use him that way. But he will get one more title run, just like taker will and HBK will.

Every one of his matches is the exact same thing. Knife edge chops, Flair runs toward his opponent but gets thrown over their shoulder, and Flair gets up on the top rope but never actually hits the move.

Uses the same moves over and over, eh? Sounds a hell of a lot like the World Champ, John Cena. Should Cena retire? That's a topic for another thread. Ric Flair is, indisputably, one of the top 5 wrestlers of all time. And in my opinion, he is the greatest pro wrestler ever. Period. He still outworks the majority of the card (folks half his age) , and he busts his ass every single time he is in the ring. He can still cut a promo like no other and dons the crimson mask like nobody's business. Is he as sharp in the ring as he was 15 years ago? No. But he is a living legend and should be allowed to leave the ring on his schedule. Even after his in-ring career is over, he still has many years left as a manager/mentor/writer or whatever he chooses to do. Just remember this: "Space Mountain may not be the newest ride in the park, but it still has the longest line! Whoooooo!"

nature boy shouldn't and should because he should retire cause he is so damn old and he shouldn't retire cause he still kicks ass and takes names:shit:

Nature Boy retire yes from active wrestling but not retire altogether he still has something to offer the wrestling community as a manager i do believe that he has to be in the top 3 as best manager of all time but for him to do that he has to jump the fence and become a heel.

l don't thin he wil turn heel tonight. he will retire a good guy. then go on to backstage work.

he might get a another title run. most likely-tag or ic

The topic about Ole Leather Tits retring... It is something that has been debated since the mid-90s now here we are 10 years later and he is still wrestling... The thing is I still enjoy Flair as much as I did when I was a kid. He can still wrestle, he uses the exact same move-set his entire career. I mean this guy is one of the best damn wrestlers/promo guys of all time, the complete package in my view. Yes he is alittle slower now but I mean to still be wrestling is good, he takes some pretty nasty bumps for a man his age and not to mention he survived a freaking plane crash that broke his back! I think after his contract is up in two years he will re-new it.... But I don't think he will become a full time wrestler, he will most likely wrestle part-time and maybe manage and do behind the scences stuff but I can gurantee you all one thing... he will be around this business till the day he dies, he has such an influence on the business. Maybe bigger then Hogans.. I mean Flair has inspired the likes of HBK and HHH.. Not to mention countless others, he is a true assest to the business!

he should retire his time has passed its time for new superstars

I strongly agree. finally someone thought of this. nature boy should now retire, or just become like hulk hogan and just show up on tv maybe twice a year. i also agree that he is an asset to the business, but now its just the limit. I cant see his matches. seriously, i fall asleep during his matches. Oh yeah, what was the deal with backstage segment on raw this past monday. Flair just goes crazy on carlito. That sure was wierd!

Flair should stick to a managerial role, managering Carlito and setting him straight from the looks of what happend on RAW
