Definitely here in Michigan. I live in Holland, and it's right next to that big freaking puddle called Lake Michigan. We get lake effect snow pretty much every day. Monkey can vouch for that.

On a more serious note, go where the jobs are. If you are looking for a job that has no bearing on your major (e.g., you are looking to enter corporate America), go to Indianapolis. I would avoid the clusterfuck that is known as Detroit right now. If you are looking for a job related to your major, I am pretty sure you can find research opportunities in Ann Arbor or Lansing.

I live in West Michigan (near Grand Rapids)...so it's not as bad as the east side of the state.

In terms of jobs in my field? My degree is in religious studies. There's not a lot of things I can do with that sucker. So, I guess I'm just trying to get a job in whatever as long as its honest work (not sales, etc...I don't feel comfortable making a commission-based living based on scamming people into buying unnecessary things).
