-All I can say is he was staring at a couple "things" that let him kno he hit the wrong people. Legally speaking of course:-)

Glad to know he's okay and i'm surprised he didn't kick the shit out of that guy.

Imagine how the drunk driver felt. "oh shit I just hit someone fuck OH MY GOD IT'S SHAWN MICHAELS AAAHHHH"

I'm not gonna lie but the first thing i thought when i read this story originally was "God Dammit Alex Riley!!"

It could be worse. He could have hit Undertaker. If that happened I wouldn't know whether to mark out or piss my self with terror.

Of all people, the person has to hit HBK. Thank goodness HBK andhis family is okay. :worship: Glad no one was seriously hurt. Just goes to show why no one should drink and drive. Maybe WWE will look at this and with the A.Riley situation and try to not gloss over this like they have in the past with other stars since he's still young and on quite the projected rise. I think that would pose quite the moral dilemma to let Riley keep going on this path, with HBK having had his family in this accident. Especially with Vince's closeness to Shawn's family and HHH's friendship to HBK.

They're not going to gloss over the Alex Riley situation. No way. They are going to make an example out of that idiot. He's getting fined, suspended without pay, and de-pushed upon his return. Separated from the Miz, his only connection to the mid-card/main event world. After he returns, he'll be spending a lot of time on Superstars. No more matches on RAW and mic time along side the man who will be WWE champion tomorrow night.

I certainly hope so habs. That would be so hypocritical of them to say that they are truly supportive of HBK and to NOT make an example of Riley with this screw up of his. That would be an insult to HBK and to HHH.

So he should only punished for drunk driving because hbk and his family got hit by a drunk driver?

Well WWE has supposedly a Zero tolerance policy, and its a wellness policy, the fact that Riley refused the breathalyzer test also tells you something as well. I mean, what if Riley had struck someone? He's lucky he didn't hit anyone. It still something that can be technically considered a wellness violation, being drunk in public and operating a moving vehicle. Imagine the headlines HAD he hit someone, it'd be far worse publicity for Riley. Better to pay this punishment now than if he killed someone.

I agree that he should be punished, I was just saying that the hbk situation should not be the reason that he is.

No, I think he should be punished for his drunk driving regardless of the HBK situation and I said so when it was discussed in another thread earlier this week. If WWE truly has a zero tolerance policy regarding substance abuse, and if they are truly a PG, family-oriented program as they claim to be, they have to make a statement and make an example of this guy. To prove that they are truly not going to put up with this bullshit, rather than just paying lip service to their supposed family values.

Right as habs said. I wasn't saying that it should be for HBK and his family, but that this would be a good time to probably enforce WHY there is a wellness policy and WHY drunk driving is frowned upon. And if WWE truly wants to do as they state in their "We will not stand for this chemical/substance..etc" then they will take this time to serve the appropriate punishments from here on out after seeing this type of situation with HBK and his family, letting others see that "This can happen to anyone, look at how it ALMOST took one of our own friends/family/WWE bretheren." Let the person in trouble see what happens, and they have to ponder their future if that was them who would've done that and how they would've felt.

Again, as I said before, riley should be punished and there is no excuse for drunk driving. What I disagree with is the fact that the hbk situation should have anything to do with it. Earlier you said:

The fact of the matter is if HBK getting in a wreck in which nobody is hurt is the biggest reason for the punishment, they are doing it for the wrong reason. They should punish him for the fact that what he did is illegal and highly dangerous. They should punish him because of the people who have been injured and killed because of such recklessness, not because of HBK. It should not take somebody in the business being minorly affected by it to initiate action being taken.

He got out of his car and did his sexy dance over to the drunk, leading to the label of "Chippendale."

As for his clothes, they're normally awful. Like he's trying to show man cleavage.

What would be a worse fashion choice in that situation? Those crap colored brown tights he worse in Elimination chamber where he won, or those hot pants with the shirt tied at the midriff and his combat boots...
