Shawn Michael's crossed eyes

No offense as I am a huge Shawn Michaels fan, but it’s just something I have been wondering for quite some time. I’m almost positive he wasn’t always cross eyed, and I don’t remember noticing it around the time of his 2002 return. So when did it happen, and why did it happen?

Certainly he has enough money to get them surgically repaired.
