Seth Rollins

Papa Pillman

I've got more Ho's than Jim Duggan
Okay I will admit to having been a big fan of the guy going to back to the days when ROH was dragging its feet on giving him the title. So I'm probably not the best guy to evaluate fairly.

So my question to the unbiased on the spam board...

Is Seth Rollins not getting better every fucking week right now??

And does the company not seem to be featuring him better? Booking him stronger? And protecting him more than they ever have in the past?

At a time he seemed like the clear third priority of The Shield. That no longer feels so evident.

I don't think there has ever been a "third priority", in the beginning they were all level, then Ambrose kind of stood out as the leading man for a bit before Reigns just kind of burst out into the spotlight from nowhere. Now, I still feel it's going to be Reigns' big push to superstardom but that Ambrose and Rollins are still high priorities. Fact is, all three members of The Shield have potential to be big stars in the future, they're all being showcased better every week because they're all high priorities, it's just Reigns is the obvious highest priority of them all. To me at least.

I've been saying for awhile now that I believe Rollins has HBK-like in-ring potential. I am by no means saying he will be the next HBK or anything like that, I really need to hear more from him on the microphone, but in the ring I think this guy has special written all of him.

I dig all members of The Shield. However Rollins and Reigns are the ones that I prefer overall (sorry Ambrose) Reigns has the intensity (and lovely hair and bone structure) and Rollins just has the overall appeal to me.

I'm a fan of high flyers like Rollins. I'm a fan of unique looks Rollins has that (his hair makes The Shield look stand out even more on him to me) and I like guys who just sound really natural on the mic (something Rollins has over Ambrose for me)

As to what WWE will do with him. He's got the whole size issue against him. I asked KB if there was any chance that Rollins would be like Jericho in the sense of going up and down the card and perhaps getting a world title run and he said he seems more like Kofi. Kofi's nice and all but Rollins has bucketloads more charisma than he does which makes me think Rollins wouldn't be in midcard purgatory

I'm hoping Rollins gets ridiculously over with the crowd that they have to push him. He's got a cool look and his high flying style will appeal to many and if his mic work improves I have no doubt he'd at least be featured in the main event.

I don't feel like he is getting better, he was always very good to start with but in my mind he's still below Reigns as far as priority goes. He's even with Ambrose and that is still being a big priority for the company. I for once am more entertained by the crazy lunatic side of Ambrose's character and the badass take no crap character of Reigns, however Rollins is a fantastic wrestler and one of the reasons why people love Shield's matches.

For the sake of this argument, lets just say The Shield stays together and all three gets singles pushes, not taking into account the current heel-face status of other wrestlers, who would you all like to see Rollins feud with in the coming weeks and months? I would say Dolph Ziggler. I think those two would have some absolutely fantastic matches.

I tend to agree with you. He has more going for him than Kofi.

Jericho may be going a little far, but I can see what you're getting at. I think he'll eventually settle in somewhere in the Jeff Hardy/Christian range.

I've said since the beginning that all three Shield members will end up being future World Champs and guys that will main event down the line. And all three have done nothing besides continue to make me feel confident in that belief.

I would say Ziggler too actually, not because they'd have great matches, I'm sure their matches would be fine, but instead so Rollins can show Ziggler how if you're going to oversell a move you do it to make it look like an impactful move, instead of doing it all the time to appease the little fanbase you have in-order to get yourself over.

He has great matches but that only takes you so far. He doesn't have the intensity or fire that Roman does. I bet Roman becomes a much bigger deal than Rollins.

But yes, I like Seth Rollins.

Uh, all members of the Shield get better every week. They were awesome as badass heels, and they've been great the last couple of weeks as badass faces.

Rollins can't talk like Ambrose, and he doesn't have the "It Factor" like Reigns, but he's certainly the most entertaining member of the group in matches. I don't see him as being a midcarder for life like Kofi. He might not get a World Title reign now that there's only one title, but he will usrely get a World Title shot or two during his career. If he's allowed to show off every week, he'll get over huge. He'll be more like RVD instead of Jericho or Kofi; he'll never be remembered as a World Champion, but he'll switch with ease between the Upper Midcard and the Main Event.

He's been killing it ever since the Elimination Chamber and showing more and more charisma every time. I wasn't a huge fan of him, but he's completely won me over; pretty much like the entire Shield really.

He's pretty good, and yes, he's getting better, but once The Shield breaks up, he's probably going to be an eternal upper midcarder.

Not that being an eternal upper midcarder is bad thing. A guy can make a very good living and get on TV almost every week. They can transtion to the main event if needed, and go back down without being "buried".

Don't watch regularly, I like Rollins in the ring, he's been great ever since his ROH days. On the mic though well I always said when he'd signed with WWE that he'd need a manager to do his promos as his ROH ones were pretty terrible.

Since Shield share their promo lines he's protected in a sense. Could he do a great promo on his own?

I also think Cole calling him "the architect of the Shield" every time he's tagged in super lame.
