Serious Questions

Can you feel...the electricity?
I'm just kind of curious what y'all's favorite superstar(s) and least favorite superstar(s) are and why.

Personally, my favorite right now is Seth Rollins. Rollins reminds me a lot of a certain TNA superstar named Jeff Hardy. I love everything I've seen of this guy. Back in NXT, he showed uniqueness and major charisma. In the WWE, he's shown the ability to team with others via the Shield. He's got a unique, yet charismatic look. He has a great moveset and can put on great matches. Also, he's billed from Davenport, Iowa, which makes me able to connect since I live south of there by a couple hours. Seth Rollins seems to have the X-factor to me. I'm rooting for him to get to the top. I love Rollins and I think there's a shot that he could be the next top face.

My least favorite superstar is probably The Great Khali. I understand that he's meant to appeal to the Indian audience, but I feel like Jinder Mahal could do a better job, and he's younger by far. Khali can barely walk. Don't get me wrong, back when Khali was in his World championship days, sure, he was alright. I didn't like him much, but I could live with him. Now I don't understand why he's on the roster.

Who are your favorite and least favorite superstars?

my favorites are Big E and Ryback because they have old skool appeal to me. They kinda remind me of Goldberg in his prime, his whole gimmick was his strength and he made good use of it.

I can't stand Cena because hes for the kiddies, too clean, and too vanilla iced out.. I can't stand the Rock because he thinks he has Frank Sinatra swag now and he uses WWE to promote non wrestling endeavors. Fandango also annoys me too. He always dances to that same tune, doesn't accomplish anything. If he were like Disco Inferno where he dominated in the match then done his dumb dance steps he'd be a lot better. Even La Parka dancing and playing air guitar with a steel chair came off more realistic since it always came after a good offensive..

The next main event crop of talent IMO is going to very good. My favorites have to be Roman Reigns, Ryback, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Big E Langston, Curtis Axel, Damian Sandow etc...I see main event *potential* in every single one of these talents. I don't exactly see a face of the company in any of them, but it is early days yet. I like the chances of Axel and Reigns because they both have the it factor and Reigns has that look that WWE management typically love.

My favourite at the moment is Bray Wyatt. What little I have seen of the man, I am excited for a superstar for the first time in YEARS. I am not saying he is my all time favourite or anything like that, but I am very much looking forward to seeing what he can do with this gimmick.

Least favourite and I will say this every time, is Heath Slater. It might just be me but I don't get it. I really tried watching this guy, but I can not stand him. He is boring and irritating and I wan't to punch him in the face, and not even because he is a heel. All he gets from me is a yawn and a channel switch.

Just My Opinion.

I'm assuming we're supposed to stick primarily to younger guys who haven't been around too long, so...My favorite right now is Dolph Ziggler. Unlike most of the Johnny-come-latelies, I've been a fan of him since day one. He's incredible in the ring, great on the microphone, and has boatloads of charisma. He just oozes massive potential. To me he's the best parts of Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho combined.

Least favorite is Ryback. He's completely worthless. No in-ring skills, worse than anybody I can remember on the mic, and less charisma than Charlie Haas. What everyone sees in this guy I will NEVER understand.

Other favorites: CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Antonio Cesaro, Damien Sandow, Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, The Miz (heel), Jack Swagger.

Other least favorites: Fandango, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Brodus Clay, David Otunga, Ezekiel Jackson, The Miz (face), Big E. Langston, Alex Riley, Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder, Heath Slater, Santino Marella.

All 3 members of the shield have massive potential, especially Ambrose in my opinion. Also looking forward to the debut of bray wyatt, and I'm a big fan of Sandow's.

Least favourates include del rio (incrediably boring), santino marella and khali

Spelling "school" with a K is the best way to show that you aren't old enough to actually remember Goldberg's prime. Comparing Big E Langston to him is the second best way.

Anyway, my current favorite Superstar is Daniel Bryan. He has been unmatched in in-ring performance lately, which alone gets my respect. More than that, though, is that the guy keeps making these potentially bad and/or career damaging angles work. A former world champion being paranoid about being weak would make most guys look weak by definition. Instead, Bryan has used it as a platform to show off a really aggressive side, getting into the face out his much larger partner and their ally who has a reputation for coming unhinged. That is to say that Bryan looks fearless. He looks that way, he performs that way, and IMO the guy is the best thing going right now.

My least favorite is a toss-up between two of the competitors in Sunday's triple threat: The Miz and Wade Barrett. Unlike Bryan who is given chicken shit and makes chicken salad, these guys seem to be sucking in protest of how they're used. That's the only excuse, because I've seen both of them be much better. There's little-to-no passion in their words or actions and their matches have rated somewhere between "blah" and "meh." MizTV serves its purpose, but there are a dozen guys who could have the interview segment on SmackDown and do just as well, if not better, with it. Neither one is a superb wrestler to begin with, but they have displayed much more in the past and should be showing their worth by putting their all into what is admittedly poor use by the creative staff. Instead they're sleepwalking, and their somnambulism in turn makes me drowsy when they're on the screen.

Yeah, I gotta pretty much mirror what Dr. said.

Daniel Bryan has just been incredibly fun to watch. When he can make a Ryback match exciting, you know he's doing it right. The only other guys that I would add in there are the Shield, but I really need to see them work with other folks a bit more. So far, so good though.

And yeah...Miz and Barrett are just a black hole of suck right now. I seriously think that when people like Jim Ross say "Some people get pushed because they don't have the right attitude", I can't help but think these are the guys he's talking about.

I laugh my head off at what you said about Dolph Ziggler. ReallY? Great on the mike? Since when? He needs a mouthpiece his whole career (Vickie, AJ etc). He is HBK and Jericho combined? So, are you saying that he is better than either Shawn Michaels or Chris Jericho, two sure-fire HoFs, who have won every title in the company, and are considered two of the all-time greats?

Incredible in the ring? Yes, he is a good wrestler, but he isn't around in an era where Kurt Angle, HBK, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and other mat-technicians and people who could put on MOTY matches consistently. Hell, a guy who wrestles one a year at Wrestlemania, and is close to retirement has had more MOTY matches at WM in the last five years, than Ziggler has had in his whole career.Ziggler is currently in a WWE where only Punk and Daniel Bryan are better than him in putting on a good match, but if the guys I mentioned before were still around, Ziggler would be lost in the shuffle.

Besides, Dolph Ziggler is a joke of a name for a main-eventer, he looks like Billy Gunn (who did nothing in his solo career) and he hasn't won a lot of titles or main-evented too many PPV's (except TLC, because Cena was in the match). He also used to have a gimmick as a male cheerleader and as Chavo Guerrero's caddy in a three-week stint when Chavo was being used as a "rich white" man.

But, you can like who you want, so, feel free to keep drinking the kool-aid, but I won't be waiting around for Ziggler to main-event Wrestlemania anytime soon.

Well current favorite superstar right now is DB! I absolutely love love Daniel Bryan his work ethic is just amazing. The fact that he can wrestle circles around most of the roster if not all of the roster speaks to the man. He barely cracks 200 pounds but he is just a machine in the ring. His personality the fact no matter what gimmick you give him,he makes gold out of every opportunity. He is easily the most popular with the crowd and IMO is more popular or as is as SUper Cena is.

Who i really dont care for is the Miz. Yes i know he worked his ass off and all that but when he was champion he was easily the most forgettable champion there has been. Even more so than Swagger. THe miz nothing screams to me about him having the IT factor. He is annoying and just average at best in the ring

Since this is in the WWE-section, I'll refrain from riding Jeff Hardy and Bully Ray's appendages. You're welcome...

I'll cheat by naming four guys instead of two - two sections for this guy!

Main-event
I fucking loved the Rock this year! Part-timer, yes, but he brought with him so much personality that the rest of the roster paled in conparison. The man's not the best in the ring, but he's believable as a physical threat and tells a good story.

Punk. I used to like him somewhat, but the way he got pushed and the never-ending fanboy love on the forum makes me want to vomit. I don't think he's the best in the ring - slow and uncoordinated for a man of his size. I don't even think he's very good on the mic, he gets cheap heat exclusively (except with Paul Bearer's urn, that program was good). He has a bad look, too. He's pudgy, balding and short.

Midcard
My favourite at the moment is Kofi Kingston. I'm a huge fan of huge spots and since JoMo left, Kofi is filling that niche nicely. Kofi's also better on the mic than I would have thought, but it's his non-verbal displaying of emotion in the ring that makes me root for him.

My pet hate at the moment is the Miz. He just annoys the hell out of me. If it was shoot-fighting, I'm betting this guy would be near the very bottom of the food chain. No other active babyface embodies all bark and no bite as well as the Miz. This is a petty gribe, but...that fuckin' beard?! Who are you kidding, asshole? Sorry...

So yeah, those are mine. I'll be looking forward to death threats from my buds over at the Punk Fanzone ;)

favorites: 1Randy Orton amazing in the ring so fluid in every thing he does heel or face i don't care i still enjoy watching him. oh and btw are you people forgetting is face turn after evolution . 2 Daniel Bryan Fantastic in ring worker the most technically sound guy on the roster. doesn't back down . i really like his self doubting gimmick . what else can you say about the guy accept i wish he would shave that fucking beard. 3 Wade barrett What a bad ass he reminds me of the old schools guy . i like his smash mouth kick ass style.

Least favorite : great khali the guy is just pure shit probably one of the worse wrestler i have ever seen in my 27years of watching pro wrestling . the fact wwe gives tv time to him every week over guys like Alex Riley,Drew McIntyre, and Ted DiBiase .is insane . makes me wonder how much crack is wwe creative smoking . Vince McMahon dick must get really hard for khali .

just to touch one something i have seen a few people say . i fucking hope there is no john cena vs undertaker match at wrestlemania 30 it makes no fucking sense to have taker wrestler guys like cena, orton, the rock ,brock lesnar, chris jericho,cm punk at mania it does nothing for either wrestler the ones i have mentioned are established superstars and taker is a legend .its more fitting to have taker wrestler guys like Antonio Cesaro, Wade barrett, or curtis axel and have one of those guy beat taker . at mania a win for someone like wade barrett over taker at mania does more for wade then it does for cena

Favourite - Cody Rhodes. His matches are highly entertaining to watch, he has a variety of moves, ranging from newer variations to some very old school moves which fit in nicely.
So he isn't the best on the mic, but he is definitely improving, especially since his work with Damien Sandow.
It may also be that he is Goldust's brother that may swing my vote his way.

honourable mentions go to D-Bry, Bray Wyatt, Big E, Damian Sandow, Paige, Kaitlyn and The Usos

One of my least favourites at the moment has to be Sheamus, he has the potential to be a complete beast in WWE but he is given a smiley, folk story telling Goofball. Now I ain't saying its his fault that this has happened, but to me he has gone stale. Although I will admit he does have a great variety of moves.

Less-Honourable mentions go to The Great Khali, ADR!!!!, The Miz (pains me to say that tbh), Fandango (gone stale quick) and Wade Barrett (where does he go from here)
