Send Truth and Miz to SmackDown

NotoriousWWE

Pre-Show Stalwart
This post doesn't stem from tonight's episode of Raw where Miz and R-Truth managed to somehow make the whole Conspiracy theory a little interesting with a pretty good promo in my opinion. This stems from around about a month back when I realized Miz and R-Truth were getting nowhere. Now I am a Miz fan don't get me wrong he's not HBK in the ring but you have to admit he's a great talker. And as for Truth a lot of people call him boring when it comes to his in-ring ability, I think he personally brings a fresh moveset to WWE. Now apparently Miz and R-Truth are either forming some kind of Stable for which superstars are given opportunities but I don't think they should go that way.

When Miz and Truth announced they were not getting any opportunities now that HHH was in charge I was hoping one of them was going to announce that they had both been offered spots on the SmackDown brand.

You see, the Blue Brand as of late has been pretty stale in terms of heel main eventers apart from Christian and possibly Mark Henry if that actually interests the public which personally I would have preferred seen 4 years ago when he was really relevant. But anyway, after these two heel stars you have young talent that seemed to be going to the top but Vince has had the tendency to pull the plug on. For example Cody Rhodes, yes he's now the Intercontinetal Champion with Ted DiBiase under his wing but let me get this straight. What do you believe has you pushing closer to the main event, Rey Mysterio? or the IC Title? To me its Rey Mysterio and back at WrestleMania time, Cody and Rey were involved in an absolutely great rivalry with actually brilliant matches especially they're falls count anywhere match-up at Extreme Rules.

Since Cody loss to Rey on that night he had some think he was pushing towards the main event scene but now ends up in the midcard title chase. So for Miz he main evented WrestleMania and R-Truth somehow managed to main event Capitol Punishment and then lose because of a " Little Jimmy ". But that's another story.

Simply put, its pretty obvious to us all that these two have nothing left on Raw and the move onto SmackDown would be perfect in my mind. Giving us two guys who are actually believable WHC title contenders. Okay, Miz vs Orton isn't so great but I think if you throw it around a little perhaps throw in Miz vs a returning face Christian you could gain intrigue.

SmackDown is boring right now lets not lie but two bright entertaining heel talents would surely make the brand a little or much more interesting. The way to do so is pretty simple. Last year we had Edge and CM Punk swap brands in a swap deal. Well talent on SmackDown that comes to mind that could be useful is when you think about how JR and Lawler keep going on and on about the Tag Team Division. Bring over maybe The Uso's, so that Kofi and Bourne have a useful feud leading up to the debut of The Kings of Wrestling. But Miz and R-Truth would surely help the Blue Brand become more interesting. Thoughts?

honestly i dont think this is a good idea theres tons of heels on smackdown already with christian and mark henry in the title picture plus wade barrett is gonna be in the title picture again at some point what both brands need is another top face espically smackdown as after orton who else is there thats main event level? sheamus? okay fine 1 but they need more then that id suggest moving morrison to smackdown and let him move into the title picture eventullay! right now though wwe is over stocked with heels

It's not that Smackdown has a lack of heels, its just a lack of calibur wrestlers. Smackdown has a few people they can build to the main event level like Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, and Wade Barrett. Raw has so much more depth with guys like Dolph, Riley, Swagger, Kofi, JoMo, R-Truth, and the Miz. Look at what they did with R-Truth, they pushed him to main event a PPV. SD is doing that now with Mark Henry (hopefully he doesn't have 4 rematches like Christian). Eventually Wade Barrett will challenge Orton but either way it doesn't compare to the Raw roster especially when it comes the mid-card. Compare the guys I mentioned to Cody Rhodes, Zeke, and Daniel Bryan. Cody Rhodes has barely anyone to challenge him. Smackdown is clearly being made the B show. They should definitely send JoMo over to Smackdown cuz he's so under-utilized on Raw. Maybe even send McIntyre back so he can revive himself. And yea there are a lot of heels in the WWE right now, cuz they need plenty of people to challenge the super heroes of Cena and Orton.

It appears to me that Kofi & Bourne are about to be fed to Miz & Truth. Really don't think Kofi & Bourne are viable champions and Miz & Truth are talking about grabbing oportunities together, so... yeah there's your next tag team champions. They even did the whole The Truth is Awesome thing.

SD! has Orton, Christian, Sheamus, Kane, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan, Big Zeke, Barret, Sin Cara etc., they have plenty of quality talent. SD! doesn't need Miz or Troof to shake things up, what they need to do is write better quality stuff, push the guys who are on the verge of that ME scene better, and just in general produce a much more interesting & entertaining show. SD! problems don't lay with the talent pool at all, creative just needs to step it up a bit, people need to stop looking for that quick fix of "who can we move over to SD! from RAW" that's nothing more than a lazy quick fix, & rarely if ever solves any of the real problems with the blue brand, the writing (which really could be much much worse btw).

either guy might make a candidate more around that royal rumble time. That way Orton might have someone creditable to face at WM. Till then their ME will be Henry and christian vs Orton and sheamus in one form of another. the only other talent has been screwed. Cody could be a conetnder for WM but he should have been given the IC strap back when wade did. He`d have already held it for several months and that would have been enough before barrett and zeke made the title worthless.

Smackdown doesn't need more heel personas like Miz and Truth. Smackdown needs more face because the Orton Show is starting to get a little boring first of all, and second of all, what if Orton gets injured. What's next? So I think before they can go to Smackdown, Smackdown needs some change itself.

Miz and Truth would both be better off on Smackdown. They really do not have much else they can do on Raw unless the conspiracy angle takes off into big angles with Trips or something. What about after that though? Cena, Punk, and Del Rio are currently the focus of the title scene. Miz and Truth could finish the conspiracy angle and then go to Smackdown because they would have better options there. Henry will not last long as a top heel. Truth could fit into that spot. Miz would also be able to bring in more viewers by promoting Smackdown with all of the appearances he does. I can see both of them getting several world title shots too. In the long run they would both benefit from moving to the blue brand. They could always send someone like Sheamus over to Raw if a trade is needed. Truth could potentially stay on Raw though because Miz needs the move a lot more than he does.
