Sean Morley Finished with TNA, Roxxi Released

Sean Morley wrote on his Facebook page that he is finished with TNA Wrestling. "Yes, folks, I am through with TNA as I want to wrestle in Mexico," he wrote. "I was going to perform in both TNA and CMLL, but now the switch to Mondays for TNA, and the fact that TNA had nothing solid yet, Mexico here I come."

Sean Morley (a/k/a Val Venis) and TNA Knockout Roxxi were removed from the official TNA roster page, as mentioned earlier today. A well-placed source notes that the buzz is that Morley's character is simply being repackaged. Meanwhile, Roxxi is not under contract to TNA at this time. However, TNA officials declined to comment on the matter when contacted by Prowrestling.net.

I'm sure if this is true a lot of people are rejoicing that Morley is finished with TNA. I checked TNA's roster page to make sure and Morley and Roxxi's pages have been deleted. I thought Roxxi had potential to add to the Knockout's Division, I guess TNA had nothing for her either.

What do you think of Roxxi's release and Morely leaving TNA?

To tell you the truth, I really don't care about Morley that much. His gimmick just can't work as a face, which was what TNA was obviously trying to do. I remember when he cut a promo on Impact a while back. He came off as very CREEPY, and seemed more like a stalker/rapist, than a good guy. Being a heel was the only way Morley's character would've worked. Besides, the whole "ladies man" thing hasn't really been popular since he was in WWE way back in the day.

Roxxi's release kind of surprises me. Roxxi has always been one of my favorite Knockouts, but she never did anything worth remembering during her brief return. Yeah, she beat then Knockout's champion ODB, but it was a non-title match, and she was beat down by ODB after the match before being saved by Tara. I remember reading some where she broke her ankle in a match against Hamada back in December. That was another bump in her return. Although, I will admit Roxxi, hadn't been all that entertaining for a while. Her time as the hardcore knockout was when she was really hot.
