I KNEW IT! I asked the bill collector what it was for.. she said it was just for a bunch of pregnant catalogs.
Least you could've done, was given her my address too, that way they could be sent to me.
You know, the worst thing is.. the moron on the other end, thought I was lying about NOT being Samantha. I was like "Lady, I'm a male!" and she was like.. "Well, often we get people saying the person no longer is at this number, etc, etc." and I was like "I just signed up for the fricken number about a month ago, I assure you, I don't know this lady!"
She said she'd put me on the "wrong number/customer no longer at this number" list.. but I know how those things work. I used to BE a fricken Telemarketer.. all that'll happen, is she'll either place me on recall in a quicker manner.. or she'll place me back into the cycle, and I'll be getting another phone call tomorrow.
True story -- I once tried selling cable to this prick, who when he told me no, I didn't try arguing (because I knew he wasn't worth it) and then he DIDN'T want to end the call, he kept bad mouthing telemarketers, etc, etc.. so I placed a recall every 30 mins. on his account. Good stuff.. I even redialed him that same day.. I laughed the instant he answered, because by that time he'd received a good 4-5 calls from us.
EDIT: For the record, I KNOW how to make telemarketers stop calling you. But I secretly love the mystery callers. Especially if they sound hot.
