I think it was really stupid to have Sabu get squashed on RAW as a punishment for his behavior. Because WWE was mad at Sabu, we had to see (yet another) bullshit match. There's really not many matches on RAW... so when there is a match, they owe it to the fans that still watch for good wrestling not to have it be a bullshit match. Punish Sabu if need be, not the fans.

Yes I agree with you on this one, I also think that making a wrestler Job is a bad punishment, I mean look at the amount of rules that randy orton has broken, he should be a jobber on al snows level by now if jobbing is actually an official punishment, once again its one set of rules for one and another for sabu

I agree as well, If they wanted to punish Sabu, then they should've left him off the show and had get squshed at house shows, and using jobbing as a punishment is pretty dumb anyway,what does this say to guys that job as a way of helping getting over up and comers.
side note: has anyone else noticed that a lot of ECW originals have been getting in trouble/drawing heat (ex: RVD, Sabu, Dreamer, and Balls Mahoney), I think that maybe they expected something a little more like the original ECW, and now that they see what ECW has actually become and what WWE thinks about it they've gotten bored, and have given less of a shit as each week goes by, maybe they should just split the ECW roster up between Raw and SD! and end ECW, maybe give OVW some national exposure by putting them in ECWs current time slot

The big problem for ECW Originals is that some of them just don't wrestle the WWE style matches well.
I mean look at Balls for example...the majority of his career was ECW style matches where anything goes no matter what and he always besides a few times I can remember..had that damned chair with him and he swung it alot.
Now he has to wrestle cleanly week in and week out to the likes of vampires and such who DO wrestle the WWE style. Which brings me to Sabu...The guy has no place in this business anymore. There is no place for his style anymore. I mean WWE no longer does the hardcore style of wrestling save for when Cena has a street fight or something.
Sabu's matches always consisted of hundreds of spots with the chair and when it isn't extreme rules you can see it in his eyes the guy has absolutely NOTHING. He is nothing without chairs and the fact that he is being a bitch about it spelled the end of Sabu's run. So expect to see a lot of Sabu squashes folks.
Besides the Sandman I just don't see the WWE giving a crap about the ECW stars at all I mean its basically sink or swim. It just seems they like The Sandman and can market him because the fans love the guy and he can easily be in some great matches with the likes of any WWE guy. The thing I enjoy about The Sandman is that his persona never relied too heavily on being overly extreme but he would just eventually take a few cane shots here and there. The majority of it was just brawling and doing moves a drunk fuck like him had no business doing like hurracanranas and flips off the top.
I hope they do split ECW over the two brands and put him on SD going against guys like Benoit and Booker T.
Other than that you have RVD who has WWE stamped on his forehead he is owned by Vinny Mac and will never eeeeeeeeeeever be the champ again but guess what he has no alternative but to wrestle every single night knowing that he severely fucked up his last chance in this business by pissing off Vince ONE too many times by getting busted with of all things drugs when the wellness policy was at it's strongest. Where will he go TNA?! TNA doesn't want RVD when they have tons of guys who do what he does already but better! Why hold down the young talented guys to bring in RVD it will never happen

you know what? wwe is damn lucky to even have him still. if it werent for sabu (especially), rvd, and other originals like sandman and dreamer, ecw wouldnt be what it is, and you know what? he has the effing right to just walk out if they arent using him, why in the hell would you call someone up to the show if your not using them that night, makes no sense at all. you know what, im behind him with whatever he does. i hope that he goes to TNA and trys to make wwe look bad because you know what? WWE is finally getting on my last effing nerve. i am started, slowly starting to believe that TNA is one day going to defeat WWE. i sit on here all the time rambling on how wwe is going to buy them out, but you know what? i hope they dont, i hope wwe stars jump to tna and maybe they should drain smackdown out of talent and replace the smackdown show with impact since i cant watch spike tv cause i dont have it. lol. its stupid to see wwe find ways to try and fire originals because if it effing wasnt for them, you wouldnt have wrestling today. these older guys paved the way for these new young worthless punks like shelton benjamin or sylvan, and wwe is still going hard on these older guys. they need to lighten up, because if it werent for them, i guarentee you! WCW would have had its chance to screw over wwe and buy them out which would have been fantastic because wcw was entirely better and had 3 hours of action giving almost everyone a chance to have a match, and if not they had thunder and saturday nights, if anyone deserves a break from all the hard work and paving done for this new ECW its Sabu.
As far as I'm concerned Sabu deserves it. He's at the end of his career and he's been given another chance and he's screwing it up. If he's unhappy with WWE he should just take the money, it's unlikley that he will make any more money than he currently is if he were to go to another promotion.

Sawho? All that guys does is jump on people with his butt. And he was on drugs and pain killer's to help him do extreme matches in the old ecw. Fact. Ric flair did a pretty good match on ecw and proved extreme matches are no big deal and that anybody can do them. Ric flair has been a REAL athlete all his life. Not some lazy couch patatoe who took a pain killer and did an extreme match and then declared he was extreme. Plus the guy is like 60.
