Sabu Promos; Cheap Wrestlers

Sabu has never done his own promos, and as it stands now it realllllly shows. Why would Vince make an in-ring talented man, with no mic skills, embarass himself on television when ECW had tons of talented managers that could be doing it for him:

a) Bill 'fonzie' Alfonso (At ONS but not ECW???)
b) Jim 'the devil' Mitchell (TNA)
c) Joel 'The women call me Fred Flintstone because I make their bedrock' Gertner (At ONS but not ECW???)
d) Francine 'The Queen of Extreme' Fourier (where the h*** has she been??)
e) Shane 'The Franchise' Douglas (yea, never gonna happen, I know)
f) Sign Guy Dudley (He's dead though right? His signs would be better than Sabu's speech)
g) Dawn Marie (Oh wait, she got pregnant. Vince doesn't like that, unless you're his daughter)
e) Jason
f) Paul Heyman (though he's currently 'gone crazy')
g) Terry Funk (he's getting too old to wrestle, it scares me--that he might die I mean)
h) Heck, even have Joey Styles cut his promos, he has the best mic skills of all ECW talent

On a side note, why hasn't ECW hunted down more, well known but lesser paid talent, example: Mikey Whipwreck (at both ONS)? Why not use Roadkill and Doring on TV? Why not bring in Supercrazy, if we're going to have a cruiserweight division he would be an excellent part. It just seems sad that we have to watch these WWE hacks, when we would all be happier watching ECW hacks...

i think everyone would agree Sabu should never cut promos, there's absolutely no reason for it and takes away the mystery that is the character's appeal. "i will win the ladder match" give me a break. and while we're on the subject, Balls Mahoney shouldn't be doing promos either

I think one of the best things about sabu was that you never heard him talk. There was always that mystery about him. How the lights would go black and he would just appear, point up to the sky and then do some crazy ass shit. Too me...that was brilliant. Vince better start smelling the coffee man. Wrestling is no where near what it was in the great attitude era. And real wrestling/fighting UFC is taking over. WWE better step their game up or they will suffer the same fait that boxing is going to suffer. in 10 years maybe selling 300 tickets at a show will be considered a success. FUCK VINCE aka the death of wrestling because his head is so far up his storyline ass that he lost his sense of reality. I know that may not make sense but SO WHAT. FUCK VINCE.

i liked Vince when i thought he was just a savvy businessman and before he destroyed wrestling, including his own company. i wonder who he'll feud with next, he apparently thinks everyone likes seeing him in the same storyline over and over again. hey it worked well with Austin right. he's killed DX and ECW in half a year, the 2 things i held most dear in the wrestling world

Yes, ECW had tons of valets, the difference between WWE and ECW valets, however, lay in the fact that ECW valets were not only entertaining, vocal (but to the damn point), but also a part of the match if not in one themselves (Fonzie v. Beaulah will never be forgotten). They were talent, not eye candy; though I can watch kelly kelly any day, as long as 10 minutes of the 60 minutes show is not dedicated to her 'dancing.' But one has to ask, where are the others? Fonzie could work either RVD or Sabu, pair Francine, who they are already paying, up with someone. I don't care if she's flabby, she can still have my children.

Vince is missing the little things that could make the show much better, relying instead on gimmicks (though ECW was arguably based upon a series of excellent gimmicks) and 'trick' or 'surprise' endings. Give us a small, real taste of an actual original ECW feel once a week, and I would glady watch mike knox and test. Though I prefer Kevin Thorn from the WWE side (whew that Ariel!)

yeah I would like to see Kelly Kelly get piledrived through a table...she would get her fucking neck broken. I thought it was amazing everytime an old ECW valet took a huge bump. So much respect for them.

To answer the question about the lesser paid talent. I have one answer for you. BECAUSE VINCENT KENNEDY (KENNEDY) MCMANNHON IS IN CONTROLL If they giave ECW over to Heyman, those very talented individuals would be shining. The other problem is the fn 1 hour they get. With Vince in controll, they may never get a 2 hour time slot that would be able to showcase the true ECW.
