Well in theory, yes, but I work for a small business, which happens to be owned by a man that makes more then 250,000 a year. Believe me, I see the bleed down effect coming. His price goes up, therefore he makes it up with raising price of goods, which the cost of those will go up because the company he buys from prices go up,yadda yadda yadda.

Eventually, it's all pushed back onto the consumer. That's why I voted against raising minimum wage. The companies make up the lost profit regardless.

The Dow, home ownership, and all signs of economic prosperity were at all time highs until 2007, after the Democrats destroyed the mortgage industry and banking with overregulation, every facet of the economy started failing. At that point, people started losing jobs. Bush was powerless to stop it because the youth in this country fell in love with the idea that the left would support them their whole lives so they could continue to smoke pot.

Again, who was in charge when it happened? Bush. Like it or not, the President gets the credit and the blame for what happens. Since you need 50 + 1 to win the election, you can't have 3 parties because it could be split evenly and no one would win. By having the third party such as Green or Reform join a major party, they can manage to get the winning margin.

It's just the nature of the food chain. I'm in management, and have my underlings. I do less physical labor then the guys under me, but I do more then the people above me. It goes like that all the way to the top. My paper work is more important then the lifting the guys do beneath me. They might break something, I screw a number up on an invoice, I could literally cost my company 1000's of dollars. My mistake is more costly then their mistake, so I am paid higher for my responsibility. It gradually goes up.

Do I get frustrated that people above me make more for me for perceived less work, of course. It's the nature of the middle class worker. However, I am extremely rationale and realize that that pencil pushing is far more important in the long run then my work.
