We get a lot of questions and requests, and most are just repeats of the same ones. Instead of making a new topic every week, here's our answers on some of the issues the posters have brought up in the past.
Can you make a wrestling media forum for sharing of matches, music, pictures, and other wrestling-related stuff?
It's a good idea, and I don't think anyone is against free stuff, but the answer is no. Most wrestling-related stuff is owned by some company, and posting it for free is a violation of the copyrights they may have over the matches, music, pictures, etc. The site can be sued if we facilitate the exchange of such material.
Can you make a pornography forum?
No. We had one years ago, but it was decided that it 1.) was a liability for copyright infringement, 2.) opened the possibility for providing pornography to minors, and 3.) had many people register just to lurk that forum. Anything with nudity or pornography is strictly forbidden and will result in instant banning of the person.
Can you create a X forum?
Unless we see that demand is great (and not by one poster flooding a forum w/ topics, mind you), we don't intend on making any new forums. There have been requests for weightlifting, cars, action figures, and a few other types of forums in the past, but demand wasn't there.
Can you ban/warn X?
If you have an issue with a poster, don't make it public. PM a global mod or admin and we'll look into it.
How do you become a mod or admin?
There's no application process. Just post regularly and well, and you'll possibly be noticed when the need is there. Being a mod is a big responsibility, and we need to have someone who can handle it. Just saying you can do it isn't enough. Just keep posting and you may just get the nod. But remember, patience is a virtue. Requesting a mod spot is an easy way to lose nomination for the spot.
How can I have a custom avatar?
Can't. Uploading or linking to custom avatars take up space on the server or increase load time, respectively, so unfortunately it's not allowed. If some graphics makers create some new general avatars (like the ones in our gallery), also at the moment we can not upload Avatars to the gallery, so we are stuck with the ones we have, for now.
Why did X get banned?
I'm sure whatever reason a poster gets banned is a good one. Nobody on the mod staff who can ban does so without reason. Chances are the person was warned enough or was stirring up shit.
Where can I get a free live PPV stream?
Not here. Such links are illegal, so they're not going on through here. If you wanna facilitate an exchange, do it over an Instant Messenger client and not on the site.
Can I get my Name Changed?
Yes, there is a Thread to request a Name Change, but it is subject to its own rules, to prevent the workload of name changes becoming too much for the Admin's. If you wish to request a Name Change, simply post here.
Will you fix something on the main site?
We have nothing to do with what content that is put on www.wrestlezone.com. We're separate from the main website you visit. The same person owns this forum and the website, but we have no way of changing anything like you're suggesting, so you need to e-mail there and they'll possibly fix their errors.

Why was my Thread Closed?
Your Thread would have been closed by one of the Forum Mods, they usually give a reason, but if they didnt dont post a Thread here bitching about it, either PM one of the Forum mods or an Admin and they will be able to tell you why, while your waiting for a reply try reading the rules, as you may well find the reason in there.
Whats with all the Ad's?
Sorry, but there is very little any of the regular staff can do about this. If it bothers you so much, then contact the site owner on the above E-Mail Address, otherwise I'm afraid you'll just have to put up with it, like the rest of us.
Can you add x Feature to the Board
The two regular admins do not have the server access to add modifications to the Board, this has to be done by Brian the owner who has a lot on his plate. A list of upgrades have recently been done, and more have been requested by the staff, its just a matter of when Brian gets the chance to do it. So please do not ask for a Shoutbox, Store, more Arcade Games etc they have all been requested.
Why cant I start a new Topic, or PM anyone?
You must get 10 Posts before being able to start a topic or use the PM System.
Can we get some more Avatars?
For the time being no. We do not have access to load new avatars onto the board at this time, repeatedly asking will not get you anywhere.

The most important rule for these forums, under which all other rules fall, is this: don't be a ********! These are privately owned forums, and so we decide what can and can't be posted here. Don't complain about freedom of speech; you don't have any here, except for that which we delegate to you. The bar room is more lenient than other forums, but excessively breaking any of the below rules will not make you exempt from anything.
1. Post new threads in the right forum. For example, don't put off topic threads in WWE.
2. If we delete, lock or move your thread, don't post it again in that forum. We had a good reason for deleting it or whatever we may have done.
3. Don't Troll. Unless the thread is stupendously ******ed, just go somewhere else if you hate a thread. Don't point out that the thread sucks or whatever you had in mind.
4. Don't Spam (making useless topics or posts). Before you reply to a thread, ask yourself, "Does this post contribute to the thread?" If not, don't bother. Same thing goes with making new threads.
5. Search the forums before making a new topic. Someone may have already posted a similar thread. If the last time the topic was discussed was more than a month ago, then it's considered a new topic.
6. Flaming. Flaming is Banned at WZ, flaming another member will result in a warning. The Bar Room will allow this to an extent, however excessive flaming will result in a warning, no matter where you are.
7. Keep your signatures modest. You're allowed one picture in your sig (400x400) and a few lines of text. If your signature exceeds this, we will edit it for you. If you restore it to its original condition (or an equivalent), we'll ban you. NO MOVING PICS, as it can slow down the comp for those with dial up modems. Signatures can be as wide as 500 Pixels, but they must in total only add up to 800 Pixels. For example, if you have a Banner that is 500 Pixels wide, then it can be no longer than 300 Pixels.
8. We've got a bunch of smilies and custom VB code here. If you want to know what they are, look at the bottom of your posting screen. There should be a link to all our smilies and custom vb code.
9. If you have a question or comment pertaining to the forums, post it in Feedback.] If you're an asshole about your comment, you'll probably be banned - so be courteous! Don't post topics pertaining to WrestleZone.com. We don't really care, because it has nothing to do with the forums. Also please read This Thread before posting anything in the Feedback Area.
10. We have over a hundred avatars for your use. You can select one by going to your control panel, and following the "edit avatar" link. You can also edit your title in your control panel.
11. If you want to post an image in your post, the correct tag is . In other words, type [img], then the url of your pic, then type [/img].
12. Don't stir up drama. That's annoying and pointless. So don't do it! This includes making threads against mods that should take place in pm discussions.
13. Don't be annoying. When a mod or admin asks you to stop doing something, just do what they asked. Don't try to be clever by doing just the opposite of whatever they asked you to do.
14. Gimmick accounts. Ok, we've had some clever and not so clever gimmick accounts here. The rule is, their existence is at the admins' / mods' discretion. If your gimmick is amusing, you'll probably get to stay. If your gimmick sucks or isn't funny or is stirring up lots of drama, it will probably be banned.
16. BREAKING ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES CAN RESULT IN A BANNING.
Although in most cases merely breaking one of the rules will only result in a warning being given to you. If you persistently break the same rule then you will be banned on the spot, if you are a poster who has been banned prior to breaking one of the rules, chances are the Mod Team wont put up with you anymore and youll be banned again. Constantly re-registering at WZForums to stir up trouble will result in your ISP being contacted.
17. Some things will get you banned without any warning.
These include:
A. Posting child porn, bestiality porn, or any other illegal crap.
B. Flooding the forums with spam, image spamming or whatever else you had in mind.
C. Impersonating a mod or admin.
D. Actions detrimental to people's overall enjoyment of coming the forums whether it be acting like an idiot or taunting other posters.
E. Repeated Failure to comply with any or several of the rules
F. Hate Threads against mods
G. Being a nuisance to the forums
H. PM Advertising
I. Serious Discrimination against someone for their Race, Sexual Orientation etc...
18. Don't sass the mod or admin team. They wont put up with it.
19. A poster can be banned if three of the threads that he or she started have been closed within a two week period (two weeks from the start of the thread).
20. Advertising, Since some people have decided to abuse the Advertising system here at WZForums, from now on All Advertising on WZ is BANNED. This means Signature Advertising is no longer allowed. Any Discussions Forums, or Wrestling site links (unless linking to sources of news stories) are not allowed on this Forum. Putting Advertising in your Signature will first result in a Warning and the Advertising being removed, if it is put back you will be automatically banned. This new rule also includes Banners with addresses in them, or anything else that could be interpreted as Advertising. Blatantly breaking this rule will result in a permanent Ban.
21. The Warning System: Most Rule breakings will come with one Warning, but there are times when people will be banned on the spot. In total a user gets 5 Warnings before they are permanently banned. The first two warnings are just that, they are warnings, after that punishments come with extra warnings. On your Third Warning you will be banned from the site for Seven Days, on your Fourth Warning you will be Banned for Fourteen Days. Registering a new Account during any of these Fixed Banned periods will result in you being permanently banned from the Forums. Once you have been warned a fifth time, thats it, you're gone, for good. No-one will be allowed back onto the Forums, if you are caught you will be banned again, an IP Ban will be handed out with every permanent Ban from now on. If you continue to pester the Site and re-register you will be in breach of your ISPs (Internet Service Provider) Terms of Service for abuse of the Internet, at which time you will be reported to them for your actions. If you wish to know why you have been warned (although each warning comes with a PM to explain it, DO NOT start a Thread in the Feedback Forum, PM the Mod or Admin that warned you, and they will explain, starting Hate Threads or complaining on the Forums about warnings, will only result in more Warnings.
22. You Cannot Start new Topics until you have reached 10 Posts: This is to tackle the issue of bots and people not looking around and starting random new threads. You also will not be able to use the PM System until you have reached that post count, so if your a PM Advertiser... well, go away.
