Royal Rumble Spoiler For SmackDown

On the best of 2006 SD special, T Long announced that next week, there will be a SD Sprint (battle royal I guess) to decide who faces the WHC at the Royal Rumble for the title. My guess is that it will probably be the Undertaker so it leads up to his WM match if it happens.

I believe what it is is that whoever wins the shortest match goes on to the Rumble to face Batista for the WHC.

Does it really matter? We all know whoever faces Batista at the Rumble will lose anyways, since Batista will be champ going into WM.

Hopefully it's at least someone who can put on a good match though.

I would have imagined Kennedy,and after reading the spoilers it looks to be him (there is no time given except his,and the fact it was the main event,seems to suggest so, and the way the spoilers are written). Good call by the wwe,as its about time Kennedy got a main event push, and KK/Batistas series of matches at the beggining of the year were excellent. However,i would have liked to see him win the rumble, or possibly use the 'Smackdown Sprint' Angle to bring Mark Henry back (love him or hate him).
Now,we have a new situation on our hands: Who will win the rumble,as Kennedy is out the running? My guess is that there gonna either give it to Hunter,Orton or 'Taker. I think the wwe have bottled the chance to give it to a younger guy (kennedy would have been ideal,and i cant see carlito sneaking it). A think am interesting outside bet would be Ric Flair. They seem to have been hinting at one more title run for the nature boy for the last year, and a repeat of his infamous Rumble victory (1991?) might seem on the cards, especially as it was rumoured they might try and run a rocky balboa angle with him or hogan.

I pray they dont do a Rocky on us.That will be hands down the worst angle of all time.I think HHH's injury is a blessing in disguise.Now its Randy's time to shine!!!!

Randy really has no push to go into the rumble because of the current storyline with Hbk. I think the most likely people to win would be Taker because in his many years in wwe he has never won the royal rumble. I also think they will soon be giving Matt Hardy a big push which might start at the rumble if he wins

i think undertaker will face Batista in wrestlemaina and it will be strak vs title and i think undertake will win
