For me, he should just go. I've had enough of him. Making jokes during Euro 2008 and generally acting like a twat. In Euro 2008 he was awful compared to how he was in the Prem. Why? Because he didn't have the United players doing half the work for him.

No loyalty is left in football these days, and it's not just Ronaldo. Look at Flamini, finally got into the Arsenal team and had the season of his life, and left for more money.

For Ronaldo - get £100m + Sergio Ramos & Robinho.

Don't think he can stay now, decided to leave before the Champions League Final. Worst thing he could have said, Utd fans won't have him back now.

Easily replaced? Not so sure about that, he can't be replaced because I can't see anyone scoring 42 goals from RM.

Still can replace him tho, just need Rooney & Tevez to start scoring more.

I still don't understand why he can't wait like 2 years to move, I'd easily let him go then. He owes it to us, we stuck by him after the World Cup, Ferguson stuck by him when he was inconsistent and diving. The fans stuck by him no matter what.

He only gave us 2 good seasons out of 5 years. I'm sure he can wait.

I don't get why he would wait. He's only got a limit time as a footballer, so he should make the most money he can in that time.

You're telling me £150,000 a week plus any bonuses plus all the contracts he has with Nike ect, isn't enough?

Ok, £300,000 per week after tax is unheard of, but hell, have some loyalty!

I'm not saying it isn't enough. I'm saying that in 10 years he'll probably be retired. And as he's accustomed to a superstar lifestyle he'll need the money. As he's only got a short career as a footballer he's going to need as much money as possible so his lifestyle can remain the same into his later years.

That's true. But he won't be able to continue the lifestyle he lives now for long, as footballers get older they tend to realise that all the money will go soon, so they slow down. He could actually try saving some of that money, when Bergkamp retired he managed to save up £30m. But i'm sure once he's retired he'll get a high paying job, hell, could become a manager.
